City Introduce Car Sharing Scheme

0,,10274%7E569171,00.jpgLeicester City Football Club have today launched a new scheme that will help supporters to share lifts to games at the Walkers Stadium.

The scheme is designed to help with parking and general congestion around the stadium - and also improve the environment.

Leicester City's lift share concept will enable fans to match themselves up with fellow supporters in their area or who travel through their area to share transport with on a given matchday.

Fans who are interested in the scheme are asked to register their details at www.liftshare.com.

Once you have registered your details, click on 'My Groups' and enter Leicester City in the search field. This will then allow you to join the LCFC Car Share facility.

Supporter relations manager Pete Jones said: "We are always looking at ways to make life easier for our supporters, and we believe that the lift share scheme will benefit both the fans and local residents to the Walkers Stadium area.

"We will monitor the scheme over the next couple of weeks and would invite fans to contact us with their thoughts regards to the new facility."

Supporters are reminded that they can contact Pete on email [email protected] or via the Supporter Hotline on 0116 2294555.

They will get a few applications from a Mr Serial Killer saying he has 4 spare spaces!!! Bit dodgy isn't it?!

I think some kind of vetting is in order.

If we don't use the bus, it's Shank's Pony for us. Only 4.5 miles.
