Winger Lloyd Dyer unsurprisingly claimed this week's man of the match award after a scintillating performance capped by two goals won over the fans' hearts and minds. Dyer got the highest rating achieved by anybody this season in the 4-0 win at Cheltenham. Goalscorers Matt Oakley and Matty Fryatt rounded off the top three.

In a week with very few negatives, Paul Dickov claimed a somewhat harsh man of the match award, with David Martin and Michael Morrison being the worst of a very good bunch. Full results below:

TOTAL VOTES: 48

Man of the Match: Lloyd Dyer - 8.98

Flop of the Match: Paul Dickov - 6.69

Best Defender: Jack Hobbs - 7.67

4. Steve Howard - 7.81
5. Jack Hobbs - 7.67
6. Kerrea Gilbert - 7.40
7. Aleksandar Tunchev - 7.38
8. Andy King - 7.35
9. Michael Morrison - 7.31
10. Max Gradel - 7.15
11. David Martin - 7.06
12. Paul Dickov - 6.69

Voter Awards:

Top Voters: Morris1234 / Manchester_Foxes_Fan / LCFC123456789 / Nath / jack newman

Most Generous Voter: 1st - Melton Fox - 9.33; 2nd - newtonfox - 9.25; 3rd - Alex Warner (basingstoke fox lol) - 9.08

Another good turnout this week. Thank you again to everyone who voted.

How anyone could have rated Tunchev better than King is beyond my comprehension.

Melton Fox is from Talking Balls isn't he? Clearly trying to affect the outcome.

Anyone that has an average of anywhere 9 strikes me as very odd.

Newton_fox was posting on TB 5 minutes after the final whistle, so doesn't look like he went.

Doesn't surprise me coming from that lot.

What's the point of giving ratings on a match you haven't seen? It just mucks up the system and doesn't give a clear picture overall.

You're player average was below 7. You thought our first 4-0 away win in ten years deserved a below average rating!

Yes it was. But my scale of ratings is clearly different to others on here...

Well then you are not a harsher voter merely one using a different scale, which seems a bit pointless. I think most people give a 7 for an average/par performance.

Well i'd say that 6 is average, 7 is good, 8 is very good and 9 is fantastic.

I set a rule initially of anything over above or below 2.00 from the team average is considered a vote intended for malicious/skewing purposes. The overall average was so high that the 9.33 fell within 2.00. If anyone can suggest a different method, I'm all ears. I'm just aware that if it is restricted too much, I will be removing genuine votes.

I got criticised to hell last time I ran the site for putting a scale of what ratings should be used for what level of performance from certain quarters because people felt that 'their' way was correct. Sometimes you just can't win

I wasn't having a dig at you don't worry, I appreciate you giving us this ratings facility.

I was more having a go at the people who just vote stupidly such as the ones already listed above. And as for the scale business, I think it would help to be honest. I personally give an average of 6, which can make a huge difference to others who tend to give 7 as an average.

For me:
2 = getting your boots on the right feet

5 = Below the players usual standard
6 = standard game and doing your job effeciently
7 = some good moments that set you above a standard performace
8 = you stood out
9 = Did something that extra bit special in the game
10 = Trevor Benjamin.

I gave Dyer a 9 (cos frankly I think he deserved it), and there were a couple of 8's for Oakley, Howard, Hobbs, few 7's and a couple of 6's
