Oldham Athletic 1-1 Leicester City
18 October 2008

Steve Howard claimed the man of the match award amongst the fans with a performance that comfortably outshone his team-mates. Howard's average rating of 7.23 proved to be more than enough to beat runner up Kerrea Gilbert, with Andy King rounding off the top three with a solid midfield performance.

That really is quite ridiculous.

It means the votes he is being given to pull that down by a load of people is below a '5'...those people shouldn't be at a football match, they should be receiving care in the community.

A reversal of fortune somewhat with both Howard & King rising to the top.

Some people got a vendetta against him, whether they admit it or not.

Gilbert, King & Howard, best in their departments.

Finally some common sense.

Average rating of 6 for the team... thought they did well against a good League one team. 7s mostly and a couple of 8s I thought. Hate to see the results when we play crap. Good on King and Howard though, thought they did well. Bastard ref though...

How did I get a top voter award? What are they given for?

Howard deserves this award! King and Gilbert both had good games so they are a deserving top 3!

When your average is closest to the overall average I think.
