Tunch Makes It A Hat-Trick
November Awards

Aleksandar Tunchev claimed his third consecutive award for player of the month after narrowly beating free-scoring Matty Fryatt and England U21 full back Joe Mattock to the award. The month of November contained no less than eight games and it proved to be a fruitful month for City, seeing them return to the top of the table after victory over S****horpe and also progress through the first and second rounds of the cup to their usual starting point of the third round.

There was some consolation for Fryatt in not winning the award as he did take first and second place in the performance of the month awards for his performances against Dagenham & Redbridge and Bristol Rovers respectively.

Jack Hobbs continued to struggle when deputising in the role of right back, earning him the title of flop of the month for November. The central midfield pairing of Bruno Berner and Andy King were some way in front of Hobbs but were the second and third worst players who played enough games in the month to be considered for the awards.

New signing Marc Edworthy marked his first month at the club with the most consistent player award with fellow defenders Joe Mattock and Aleksandar Tunchev rounding off the top three. Andy King continued in the same vein as he did in October claiming the title of most inconsistent player for November, followed by loanee Jack Hobbs and winger Lloyd Dyer.

The best team performance in November came in the first round of the FA Cup against Stevenage Borough with the crucial victories over Yeovil Town and S****horpe United in the league following closely. Unsurprisingly, the Johnstone's Paint Trophy defeat at Rotherham United was voted as the worst performance the City displayed in November. It won't come as much of a surprise that all three of the poorest individual performances came in this game, with Jack Hobbs putting in the worst performance of them all.

Thanks to everyone who voted during November. The votes are ever increasing and continue to cause interesting debates week after week. The site continues to be under development and is still a while away from completion but I'm still taking suggestions for any features or awards that you would like to see included.

interesting, i can't imagine any team in the country have a ratings system as comprehensive as this, which makes it all the more frustrating that there are so many paradoxes in it..

for example, it is one of the most rewarding months the club has experienced in a long time, yet 2 of our core palyers, 2 of the 3 ever presents, berner and king are in the bottom 3, strange and with dyer mr inconsistent again... so i'm guess ing the midfield aren't considered that important to the overall team performance.

nice work tho, keep it up guys

Bare in mind that despite Berner and King being in the bottom three, they actually have pretty decent average ratings, not all that far from Tunchev. It was a very solid month all round and I think that reflected in the ratings.
