Northampton Town 1-2 Leicester City
31 January 2009

City striker Steve Howard returned to haunt his former club at Sixfields collecting his fifth man of the match award of the season after being voted the best City player on the pitch by the travelling blue army. Howard's goal saw him do enough to beat on-song centre back Jack Hobbs with a good second half from Matt Oakley helping him to win third spot against Stuart Gray's Cobblers.

Joe Mattock was persistently in the wars and struggled to get going resulting in him being voted the worst player for Leicester, with full back Kerrea Gilbert and Matty Fryatt rounding off the bottom three.

Daggers said she should find a new hobby, as this one obviously wasn't entertaining her.

You've got to agree with him.
