Bristol Rovers 0-1 Leicester City
21 February 2009
On-loan keeper Mark Bunn made an immediate impact in only his second start with Foxes by claiming the man of the match in the 1-0 victory at Bristol Rovers. It was Bunn's penalty heroics that helped City hold on to the three points with the fans choosing him over strike pair Steve Howard and Matty Fryatt who finished second and third respectively.
No change at the bottom as Lloyd Dyer was once again voted flop of the match. Matt Oakley received a worse rating but was not on the pitch for long enough to be eligible for the award. Jack Hobbs and Bruno Berner were the closest two who were eligible for the award.

Funny thing is, Dyer didnt receive any flop awards until the Crystal Palace home cup tie not so long ago. Since then he's received 8 of them in the space of 12 games. This one is his fifth in a row. And yes he has the most.
No doubt some of them have been deserved but it makes me wonder if fans start with the preconception that he'll be rubbish and he starts on a lower foothold than other players. He'll need to do something special to win them back over - hopefully this weekend has all the ingredients.

berner suffers from a similar plight, from what i have seen of him...
Also, how did mattock make L1TotW, yet was very average on these ratings... is it the same thing as above?
