Leicester City 4-0 Cheltenham Town
7 March 2009
Matt Oakley pipped fellow midfielders Tom Cleverley and Max Gradel to win his fifth Player-Ratings.com Man of the Match award of the season. A classy display from the City captain helped City to dominate, particularly in the midfield with wingers Tom Cleverley and Max Gradel also being rated highly by the voting fans.
David Stockdale was the voted lowest out of all who were eligible for the awards, but his ratings was judged too high to be deserving of any flop of the match title - particularly in a game where he didn't have a lot to do. Joe Mattock and Kerrea Gilbert were the other players who struggled to make much of an impact.

Me! The harshest voter, don't believe it.
TBH we weren't exactly playing at our best, we didn't need to against these.
I thought all the players performed at a level one would expect against a team at the bottom, hence my predominantely average scores.
Anyone who marked them high were maybe still overjoyed to see us come away with a 4 -0 win.

Oakley certainly deserved it. But, it a bit harsh because Cleverly was also superb.
_____________
For me, we need to sign Cleverly, with him only being only on loan.
