Leicester City 1-1 Colchester United
21 March 2009

On-loan goalkeeper Tony Warner marked his home debut by winning the Player-Ratings.com Man of the Match award after the watching City faithful rated him the best player against Colchester. High ratings were scarce with no-one rating above a 7, but full back Kerrea Gilbert and winger Max Gradel did enough to warrant a place in the top three.

Barry Hayles failed to take his chance to impress and was voted City's worst player. Matt Oakley had a blip in his usual good form to be voted the second poorest player, with Andy King rounding off the bottom three.

I do like Warner we have looked comfortable with him in goal, and there was nothing he could do about the free-kick.

You were indeed on the generous side. Wonder if that would have been the case had Howard played

Yes I got a mention!!

I was only generous cos I could not remember much. Cleverley's injury was saddening on the Sunday.
