Looks like a good relationship with Sunderland, I think and I hope I'm not on Holiday!

Suppose this is our glamour friendly then. <_<

Meh, hopefully we'll have some good away friendlies at some decent grounds now that the Burton match is off.

Yeah, I'll be shocked if Bruce dont bring Waghorn on, for the fans to say thanks.

It'd be really nice if this Bobby Smith memorial match I've heard rumours about went ahead. And now that our home "glamour friendly" against Sunderland is confirmed, maybe a weekend in Edinburgh is on the cards...

From OS

Leicester City will host Sunderland on Saturday 31st July, in their final pre-season game ahead of the 2010-11 campaign.

The game against Steve Bruce's side, is a 3:00pm kick off at the Walkers Stadium, with further ticket information to follow on lcfc.com

City won their last high profile pre-season friendly against Real Valladolid at the start of last season, when Matty Fryatt scored the only goal of the game.

Waghorn's signed for us and as part of the transfer deal there has been a friendly agreed between the clubs? :fc:

Am I hoping for too much?

The friendly benefits us (££££) so why would it be part of a transfer deal to a player going from big club to smaller club? The friendly clause normally works the other way, no?

I guess whichever oppo helps the squad prepare for the new season most is the important thing. Even so though a couple of token friendlies at good little grounds/seaside locations might be nice.

I'll be in Devon and Cornwall from mid July for two weeks. A friendly at Plymouth or Exeter would be just dandy.

Friendly at Notts County or Lincoln would be nice. Chesterfield or Mansfield as we have in previous seasons wouldn't be disastrous, even if Chesterfield do have a new ground.
