He played just the first half in Reds' 4-1 win at Shonan Bellmare in the J-League first division on Saturday, and has been told by manager Volker Finke to take the next several days off. Leicester are currently at the foot of the Championship table with one point from the first three games of the campaign. Abe, who appeared in all four games for Takeshi Okada's side in South Africa, has 49 caps and three goals for Japan.
