Akinbiyi24 Posted 19 April 2015 Share Posted 19 April 2015 Surely has to go down as one of the worst managers in prem history. Its almost getting as embarrassing as terry Connor at wolves.
peterborofox Posted 19 April 2015 Share Posted 19 April 2015 Newcastle look dog shit. That run they went on in Octoberish is keeping them up. Look wank, and not putting in effort seemingly

Fox92 Posted 19 April 2015 Share Posted 19 April 2015 Newcastle will go down again soon. They are so boring, which is horrid to say for such a big club but they have no ambition and they don't even have players that stand out anymore. When they do, they are sold on. Dan LCFC Posted 19 April 2015 Share Posted 19 April 2015 Newcastle have the mentality someone like Bolton/Wigan had. It's a disgrace in all honesty but their lack of protest against that **** Ashley means they pretty much get what they deserve. They're a terrible side. The worst in the league for me. Steve_Guppy_Left_Foot Posted 20 April 2015 Share Posted 20 April 2015 It is his job to motivate the players imo, he isn't doing it. Starting to look like Lee Clark in interviews (i.e someone has just told him his dog has died).
placidcasual Posted 20 April 2015 Share Posted 20 April 2015 He was a terrible manager at Toronto as well. No idea what the barcodes were doing appointing him. Apart from him being cheap.

LcFc_Smiv Posted 20 April 2015 Share Posted 20 April 2015 In all honesty he seems a decent guy who has been set up to fail. Ashley has a lot of control over the first team and as such Pardew was limited to the players he got to bring in, and who was worthy of contract extensions and such. Their squad is made up of a bunch of individuals who can't hack it in this league as a squad, and their recent derby match was an example of how little they understand about the English game, sure you have the likes of Cisse, Coloccine and Guitterrez who have offered something in the past but the rest of the squad is a bunch of bargain buys or deals that have been made where money can be used more effectively. Pardew has proven his worth, but let's be honest, even at Newcastle he could never have had the same effect he's having at Palace because you don't get the same level of freedom with your squad. You only have to look at the Rangers fiasco to know Ashley is poison and I feel for Newcastle fans, their club hasn't really been theirs for a number of years. Haydos Posted 21 April 2015 Share Posted 21 April 2015 Could still easily go down. Easily? They're practically safe already, even if they don't pick up another point.
Bobby Hundreds Posted 21 April 2015 Share Posted 21 April 2015 They're 7 points ahead of Leicester and Hull, 6 points ahead of Sunderland, 3 ahead of Villa, each with 5-6 games left. They don't look like winning another point and their goal difference will only get worse.
RonnieTodger Posted 21 April 2015 Share Posted 21 April 2015 Most of these internal appointments are a complete disaster. For every Garry Monk, there are about 7 Paul Harts.

Gary Monk was groomed for it though, Carver basically got chucked into the deep end.

Every single game they have left is winnable. I reckon they'll pick up another 7 or 8 points. Why don't you put your money where your mouth is? filbertway Posted 21 April 2015 Share Posted 21 April 2015 When we beat them a week on Saturday we'll go ahead of them. That's the dream. One thing I love about NP's squads is that the effort will always be there, even if the quality is lacking. Aside from when the squad goes out on the lash 2 days before a game obviously. Yeah on paper they do, but watching them play they just aren't trying, it's like they've forgot how to run. If they continue putting the same lack of effort in to their remaining games they'll be lucky to get another win.
Dan LCFC Posted 21 April 2015 Share Posted 21 April 2015 I will be amazed if Newcastle pick up 7/8 more points. Only one I could possibly see them winning is QPR away.
