kingcarr21 Posted 20 April 2015 Share Posted 20 April 2015 I would love to see if ever a team rooted to the bottom of the league at the beginning of April have ever gone on a 3 match winning run before. Did Sunderland do it last season?

Did Sunderland do it last season? Sunderland won 4 on the trot last season to escape I think. And I think that included wins over Man Utd, Man City and Chelsea if I'm not mistaken. Or something like that any way. EDIT: Ah ok, I was close!

Yep, had a quick look, I may be wrong but I think the last time we won 4 on the trot in the top division was 1966-1967. 17.09.1966 Sunderland away W 3-2 24.09.1966 Aston Villa home W 5-0 01.10.1966 Arsenal away W 4-2 08.10.1966 Nottingham Forest home W 3-
