lifted*fox Posted 25 May 2015 Share Posted 25 May 2015 Now we know the 3 teams joining us next season, how do we think they will adapt to the Premier League? Will we be in a battle with them at the bottom or will they struggle like QPR, Burnley and (for a long while) Leicester did this season, while we sit (reasonably) comfortably above them? Thoughts? foxfanazer Posted 25 May 2015 Share Posted 25 May 2015 2 of them down and Sunderland to drop with them. Think Watford could sneak survival
AKCJ Posted 25 May 2015 Share Posted 25 May 2015 I think Watford and Norwich will go down but I can't decide on Bournemouth. Can see them being like Swansea to be honest.
TOMBlcfc Posted 25 May 2015 Share Posted 25 May 2015 Think Bournemouth will struggle the most but it really depends on how all of them approach it; both in the transfer window and in terms of systems/preseason
Finnaldo Posted 25 May 2015 Share Posted 25 May 2015 Norwich will stay up in my mind, not sure about the other two. Bournemouth likely to drop straight down you'd think but I wouldn't write them off until after the first few games, you can just never know. Super_horns Posted 25 May 2015 Share Posted 25 May 2015 Need to sort out a manager first! We might score but also let in a few... Like Bournemouth. Norwich have the greater experience.
Stevosevic Posted 25 May 2015 Share Posted 25 May 2015 We'll finish above those
KFS Posted 25 May 2015 Share Posted 25 May 2015 All good sides in their own right. Think it might just be one step too many for the Cherries though.
RowlattsFox Posted 25 May 2015 Share Posted 25 May 2015 Early days of course and its dependant on how they look come the start of the season. Norwich have the nucleas of the team that went down, could go either way. Bournemouth could be similar to us or could go the way of Burnley. Watford will probably change the most but I think they'll be a management circus again and they will go down.
johnny the fox Posted 25 May 2015 Share Posted 25 May 2015 How can anybody write off any team ? hope they all do well... as long as they are in the bottom half...it won't affect us anyway cos we will be in the top half....

All depends on your transfer dealings imo. But a couple of PL experienced players and I think you could be alright. It really is an unforgiving league though
CosbehFox Posted 25 May 2015 Share Posted 25 May 2015 Far too early for predictions. As it stands there is about 10 teams what need to strengthen to avoid being involved at the bottom.
cc_star Posted 25 May 2015 Share Posted 25 May 2015 Think Bournemouth (unbelievable manager and rich owner) and Watford (half of Serie A will join on loan) will survive but Norwich will go down but in 18th We'll have our work cut out to avoid second season syndrome
Carl the Llama Posted 25 May 2015 Share Posted 25 May 2015 Let's see what they do in the summer and the first 10 games or so.
Raw Dykes Posted 25 May 2015 Share Posted 25 May 2015 None of them ran away with the title like we did. They will all be involved at the bottom end of the table. Whether they can avoid relegation will depend largely on transfers this summer.
Mark_w Posted 25 May 2015 Share Posted 25 May 2015 Bournemouth to survive fairly comfortably, Norwich by the skin of their teeth, Watford to go down although I think Deeney will impress.
Bilo Posted 25 May 2015 Share Posted 25 May 2015 At least one of them will go down, possibly two. Watford will have to massively invest and look like the kind of club who'll get through more than one manager next season, it's totally unknown territory for Bournemouth and Norwich are a month behind both of them in the transfer market. That said, I think Norwich are probably the best equipped to survive of the three given they've experienced instant promotion after last season's relegation. Based on VERY early predictions, I'd say Watford will go down and Bournemouth will fight but utlimately lose out. Norwich to stay up by the skin of their teeth. Guest ttfn Posted 25 May 2015 Share Posted 25 May 2015 Yeah I and many others underestimated the importance of having premier league experience in the side but those who do have experience of this league (Albrighton and Huth basically) delivered big time when it mattered. So much depends on the summer's transfer for not only the newly promoted sides but everybody who finished below 9th this year (except maybe Everton). Can see Deeney being Watford's Charlie Austin. He'll do well in a mediocre side.
ScouseFox Posted 25 May 2015 Share Posted 25 May 2015 They could all easily stay up if they just attack a few shit teams. Norwich and Watford especially have every chance of being better than Newcastle, Sunderland, villa and us. Not to mention the likes of palace are top half sides this season, West Ham have no manager and have been shit since about November, west brom ain't all that. There's so much shit in this league these teams will decide their own fate. A bit of quality and they'll finish safe no probs.
gerrytaggart Posted 25 May 2015 Share Posted 25 May 2015 Would like to see them all stay up at the expence of villa newcastle and stoke.
Strokes Posted 25 May 2015 Share Posted 25 May 2015 They have to look at the potential strugglers and win games against them to stay up. The list isn't massive but Newcastle, Sunderland, West Brom, Aston Villa and us are the targets, there may be one or two surprises, Everton, West Ham and Stoke could have a poor season and be down that end but I wouldn't expect much different from the top half of the table. One Legged Beaver Posted 25 May 2015 Share Posted 25 May 2015 Impossible to tell at this stage, but if Howe stays true to his word about no overspending on players then I can't see them fairing too well and being a bit like Burnley.
Col city fan Posted 25 May 2015 Share Posted 25 May 2015 Far to soon to predict anything. The seasons only just finished! I do think however that all three will be stronger than Burnley and QPR.
