Vossen Posted 26 May 2015 Share Posted 26 May 2015 As we have sold 23,000 season tickets it must be time to expand the ground & MAKE IT SAFE. Not fit for live music but if we carry on from last season, something will give & people will get hurt or die... This really needs to be looked at... Wymsey Posted 26 May 2015 Share Posted 26 May 2015 I'm sure there have been initial rejections a while ago by the local council saying this would not be likely to happen, due to congestion/parking concerns etc?

I don't think 'something will give' cos isn't the stadium designed to handle such movement in the first place?

goose2010 Posted 26 May 2015 Share Posted 26 May 2015 why do we need to make it safe for music? With the likes of NEC, NIA and Nottingham arena not that far away. For out door gigs you have cov's ground down the road, I don't think there is any point making it suitable, kasabian are too big for it now and proved that at Vicky park last year, seems a lot of money to waste on attracting mediocre bands to Leicester

SystonFox Posted 26 May 2015 Share Posted 26 May 2015 Fingers crossed the kop collapses last Does that still apply if they swap it with the family stand? Wouldn't want anyone to die due to the clappers
ScouseFox Posted 26 May 2015 Share Posted 26 May 2015 Does that still apply if they swap it with the family stand? Wouldn't want anyone to die due to the clappers actually yeah gotta think of the children probably be the whole ground falls to pieces but the family stand is ok due to less weight cos of the kids and they make more high pitch noise and weigh less so probs would be safe. but not 100% sure on the science behind how to make a building fall down with a clapper deffo deffo my aim (after signing cambiasso) for next season tho

Unabomber Posted 26 May 2015 Share Posted 26 May 2015 If the stand does collapse and we do all die which tbf is looking likely now vosman has brought it to our attention, then I hope it happens when Cambiasso scores a worldy so we all die happy. Dan Gliballs Posted 26 May 2015 Share Posted 26 May 2015 If all the fatties just lost a few lbs between now and the start of the season, I reckon we could squeeze another 100 people in. People should be measured at the turnstiles, anyone with a weist size of over 38" gets to watch the match in a 'fat basement' on a live TV. Tough love, that's what's needed here.
