Hope this is true. If so, LCFC will probably pay him a portion of the wages remaining on his contract because PNE wouldn't be able to match it. Can't see PK getting much of a look in with us this season (long overdue IMHO) and he'd give PNE some experience on their return to the Championship. Win/win all round. I have a feeling there would be some kind of clause for the player to extend it a year, based on appearances or us staying up.
