I stood for an hour in the pouring rain, waiting outside the record shop, for her first LP, "Cilla" I saw her every time she came to the Adelphi in Slough, during the sixties. Knowing she has passed away,at 72, which really isn`t that old these days, has come as a shock, and made me feel sad. Total respect for the lady, and truly was/is a British icon. The only thing that i'm dreading is the repeats/ITV will be flogging that 3 part series that Sheridan Smith did again, I never watched it but couldn't stand that the amount of adverts they did flogging it, looked awful.
