Freesolo Posted 19 August 2015 Share Posted 19 August 2015 I used to go to Dance Festivals, First one I went to was Homelands with my older brother i was only 16 i think it was 99, When you are young they are great but the thought of going to a Dance festival now fills me with apprehension and fear, The last one I did was Godskitchen Global Gathering think it was 04 the venue was in Shakespeare Country somewhere. I have never had a comedown like it in my life had to stay of work till Thursday my head was such a mess. The party days where over after that Call me a lightweight, tell me to man up but i tell you one day when you get a bit older it takes you longer and longer to recover until you get to certain age and say "the party ain't worth whats going to come after" and pack it in, happens eventually to everyone i think although i know a few people who are still going hard in their mid 30s I don't know how they do it Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
