Haven't seen anyone mention Junior bleedin' Lewis!!!

I still get an involuntary twitch if I walk into j.lewis .....

And to think we were where more or less in the same position as we are now when we signed him must be the worst signing we ever made ...

In hindsight it never fails to amaze me how it took us until 2008 to go down. We were 24 carat dross.

 

I remember the away end joyously singing "We are staying up" at Barnsley in 2007. Now, part of the reaction was the delight that Leeds (and more specifically Wise) had been relegated, and of course relief involved too, but later on you sit and think- "Why are we joyously celebrating staying out of the bottom three of the Championship?" We won roughly 12-13 games a season for four years- it was pathetic.
