LCCFox96 Posted 29 August 2015 Share Posted 29 August 2015 Schmeichel - 6 - Decent performance. Looked solid and commanded the area well. Pretty helpless for the goal tbf. De Laet - 4 - Stupid, rash challenges going in. His positional sense needs to improve. Not helped by Mahrez's poor performance in front of him. Relieved for him when Gradel came off. Huth - 6 - Solid, other than the stupid incident with Tyrone Mings. Morgan - 7 - Strong performance. A few good last ditch challenges, strong in the air and contributed well to attacking set plays. Schlupp - 7 - Average first half but bossed the left flank second half. Main contributor to a lot of our chances. Mahrez - 5 - Didn't go his way today, not for a lack of effort. King - 5 - Didn't look the most assured driver of the car today. Drinkwater - 6 - See King. Picked up much more in the second half. Kante - 7 - Strong performance. Like Schlupp, came on very well in the second half. Seemed strong in attack and defence, the real deal. Mahrez - 5 - See Albrighton. A not so convincing performance from Mahrez and Albrighton possibly highlights our need for wide reinforcements. Vardy - 7 - Good running as per, looked dangerous in the 2nd half, won a few headers in the air and a bit of individual magic to win and dispatch the penalty. Subs Okazaki - 6 - Looked alright. Played better with him on the pitch than we did without. Dodoo - 5 - Good endeavour, earned his performance but lacked a bit of quality in shooting positions. Looked promising though. Benalouane - 3 - Contributed nothing to the point we earned, indeed nearly cost us it. I've defended him in previous threads but he needs to learn not to put stupid challenges in late on outside the box. Lacks composure at the moment. Claudio - 5 - Stupid decision to change the formation. Very poor pre-match organisation and a naive decision to make for a man of his experience. Earns a 5 for rallying the team and recognising the change was needed at HT. A decent recovery.
The Doctor Posted 29 August 2015 Share Posted 29 August 2015 Schmeichel - 6 - no chance with the goal, not much to do otherwise. De Laet - 4 - poor, was left exposed but was still all over the shop Morgan - 6 - bullied Wilson, other than the goal I don't remember Wilson ever threatening to even take a shot Huth - 6 - as with morgan Schlupp - 8 - played really well, particularly second half and was our main attacking threat Mahrez - 5 - possibly got a knock early on, unlucky with the disallowed goal but didn't do much King - 5 - ok, battled well but the passing from the entire midfield was a shambles Drinkwater - 5 - as with King Kante - 6 - as with king but he made a lot of good tackles to end their build up and bombed on well second half Albrighton - 5 - never really got into it, no real attempts to find him Vardy - 7 - good work for the penalty and the final quarter but isolated for the rest - a thankless task which he did quite well Subs: Shinji - 5 - don't remember him touching it much, but Vardy seemed to benefit from the support Dodoo - 4 - airshot and nothing else Benalouane - 5 - ok, didn't offer much and the wrong move really. Bournemouth - 5 - did a lot without ever really doing anything, made to look better by our complete abjectness for the first 70 minutes Ref - 1 - shocking with the cards, even worse with the penalty shouts Ranieri - 3 - got the formation all wrong, bottled it from the word go. Corrected it at least second half.
Rasmic123 Posted 29 August 2015 Share Posted 29 August 2015 Ranieri - 3 - got it wrong and took too long to sort it out. Schmeichel - 5 - had nothing to do really De Laet - 4 - poor, especially in the first half Huth - 3 - worst ive seen him play, at fault for the first goal and seemed to forget that he was a centre back half the time, morgan must have been furious with him after that Morgan - 6 - one of our better performers, solid Schlupp - 7 - bright spark today from the kick off, only dangerous player in first half and his energy and running in the second half was a great boost. Best player for us I'd say today Mahrez - 5 - they did a good job on him today King - 4 - ineffective Drinky - 4 - a couple of flashes of what he's capable of but far too much sloppiness from him today Albrighton - 5 - anonymous Kante - 5 - excellent at winning the ball today and thats about it, incredibly sloppy with the ball Vardy - 7 - zero service yet he managed to steal a point for us and should have had another penalty at the end. Quickly becoming one of our best players and Roy must be watching that performance and thinking that vardy is a very good player to make things happen with absolutely **** all service Opposition - 5 - might be generous but they did look decent in the first half. But they were there for the taking and i think that bournemouth are going to get found out this season as they are seriously lacking a cutting edge. dont remember schmeichel having to make a save which from a bournemouth point of view must have been so infuriating when they dominated the first half so much. based on that, i think they'll go down and their lack of experience will really hurt them. Ref - 1 - one of the worst refereeing performances I've ever witnessed. Got just about every decision wrong and bournemouth must be counting their lucky stars that he was refereeing today and not someone who actually knew the rules of football. Mahrez goal looked onside (although i'll wait for MOTD on that one), vardy denied a stonewall penalty at the end but this isnt the reason he got a 1. he pulled us up every time we put a tackle in and it was just so infuriating. He never had any control on the game and the FA made a poor call putting him in charge for this game. A game between two teams that play at a very high intensity needs a consistent ref because there was always bound to be contestable decisions. However we got this twat to referee this game and he's the first ref i've given a rating of 1 to since these ratings began

Benguin Posted 29 August 2015 Share Posted 29 August 2015 Ranieri: 3. If it ain't broke don't fix it. Negative team selection, I get the whole Dodoo scored a hatrick et's give him a shot but we should not be turning to our academy to come rescue a game. Clearly doesn't like Kramaric and Ulloa, our skilful and talented strikers worth 20 mill. Vardy is in exceptional form so he is first on the team sheet but we should be looking to sub on our proven goalscorers when we're chasing a game. Ulloa for Drinkwater @ 60 mins would have won the game Imo. De Laet: 3. I like De Laet but sometimes he is simply shocking. Poor challenges, poor decisions, poor passing. Huth: 5. Okay, pretty solid but a lot of poor decisions and slapping that little **** in the face was not very wise @ 1 down, in front of the ref. Morgan: 6. Not bad son, keep it up. Schlupp: 7. So fast, so comical and great character, part of me wishes he was a bit more intelligent in person and on the ball as hje'd become a world beater but then he wouldn't be our Jeffuri would he? Albrighton: 5. Not great but not really his fault thanks to out woeful midfield. King: 5. Poor Drinkwater: 4. Awful. People keep saying he's back to 13/14 Danny, and having great games. I don't see it. He does 2 or 3 remarkable things a game to earn these plaudits and then for the rest of the match has a shocker. We heavily invested in our mid a few weeks ago and it's time for inler to step up and add some quality. Mahrez: 5. I knew his form would not last. Mahrez has a split personality, one game he is Lionel Messi, the next he is GTF. Kante: 6. Some moments of sheer class but gave the ball away a fair bit. Great defensive play though. Vardy: 7. I fricking love Jamie Vardy atm. Benlouanne: 5 His poor challenge was actually Bournemouth diving. They got away with it all game and made Benny look bad at the end. He's a bit of a wild card but I quite like him. Dodoo: 5. Fair play to him getting a go after a quality performance at Bury. Problem was this was a Premier league game. That airshot did give me a smile though, which was a rare occurrence in the game. Okazaki: 5. Good character, just needed better service. Referee: 2. Shocking performance! Bournemouth simply had to fall over to get a free kick. I would have scored a 1 if he hadn't have awarded the penno. Bournemouth: 4. We made them look good and now the jizz fest over Eddie Howe will continue. I though I might like Bournemouth this year but after watching Eddie go nuts when one of their players dived (Not nuts at his player but nuts that our player wasn't sent off) I now actively hate them and will, for the rest of the season, be hoping they lose and get relegated an go into administration and go broke and get reformed as Bournemouthh United rotting away in non league for the rest of time. AKCJ Posted 29 August 2015 Share Posted 29 August 2015 Schmeichel - 5 - Didn't have a great deal to do but he didn't really do much right. Average game today. De Laet - 4 - Constantly ruined in the first half. Mahrez didn't help him out at all. Seemed to do everything wrong. Huth - 5 - Hasn't been bad as such but he's not been as good as he was last season. Poor defending for their goal. Morgan - 6 - I think he's gained a yard of pace. Looks better on the ball nowadays too. Schlupp - 8 - Absolute animal in the second half after a quiet first half. MOTM. Mahrez - 5 - Dead quiet today but had a goal wrongly disallowed. Kante - 7 - Surprised me in the second half on the wing. Very energetic and linked with Schlupp well. King - 4 - Poor and anonymous. Drinkwater - 6 - Grew into the game but seemed to have flubber on his boots. The ball just bounced off him and his second touch was a tackle more often than not. Albrighton - 5 - Didn't go his way today. Vardy - 7 - Quiet first half but still looked deadly. Seriously good play to win the penalty. Okazaki - 6 - Fell over a lot but helped get Vardy into the game. Dodoo - 5 - Didn't do an awful lot but seemed to be half decent. Should have scored. Benalouane - N/A - Came on with about a minute left. Shouldn't have dived in on Tomlin who fell over like a sack of shite. Ranieri - 5 - 3 for the first half, 7 for the second half. 4-3-3 just does not suit Leicester City.

Kitchandro Posted 29 August 2015 Share Posted 29 August 2015 Schmeichel - 6.5 - Didn't have much to do, couldn't do anything with the goal really. De Laet - 1 - Embarrassing performance, hope we don't see him again. Huth - 4 - Poor today. Lot his cool, gave away silly fouls and passing was poor. Morgan - 6.5 - Don't think he did much wrong Schlupp - 8 - Great second half, exactly what we want to see from him. Mahrez - 3 - Rubbish, not really his fault in an attacking sense but his defensive work is disgraceful. Kante - 7 - Not great technically and first half he was non-existent but second half much improved and won some vital tackles and the odd good bit of play around the box. King - 3 - Mr Invisible strikes again. In some away games you literally do forget he's on the pitch. Drinkwater - 4 - Gave away lots of free kicks and was poor in possession. Shied away from responsibility at times with his backward passing but at least he was more involved than King. Albrighton - 5 - Like Mahrez he was totally hindered by the formation and couldn't get into the game. Vardy - 8 - Can barely remember him touching the ball as he was so isolated but he gets an 8 purely for being an absolute hero. Classic Vardy making something of nothing, committing defenders and pulling a result out of the fire. Emphatically confident penalty. I just love him for moments like that. Okazaki - 5 - Perhaps should have started and it was a no brainer bringing him on at half time but tbh I don't think he did much other than giving us a better shape by just being there. Dodoo - 2 - Harsh game to chuck him on for. He didn't get into it and fluffed a golden chance. We should probably loan him out rather than throwing him in at this level. Benalouane - N/A - He's got an unfortunate habit of giving away free kicks. Some of them are harsh but he is naive by even waving a leg or raising his arms. He's spared a rating as he wasn't on long enough but I'm not a fan.
Guest ttfn Posted 29 August 2015 Share Posted 29 August 2015 Schmeichel 6 - Didn't really have anything to do. Distribution was fairly wobbly. De Laet 4 - Poor again. Didn't get much support from Mahrez but he did get support from other players and time and again he picked the wrong option. Huth 5 - Looks like a £3m centre back rather than the behemoth we saw last season. Morgan 7 - Thought he was one of our best players today, but his abject failure to ever time his jumps properly really irks me. Schlupp 7 - Still don't like him defensively but going forward he was our biggest threat. Which from left back tells you all you need to know about how poorly the team knitted today. Mahrez 4 - Poor. Took a whack after 10 seconds and thereafter couldn't wait to get rid of the ball whenever he got it. King 4 - Dire first half, competent second half. Drinkwater 4 - Same as King. I don't understand why he is so reluctant to look forwards -he's got a good range of passing on him but every first touch takes him backwards. Kante 6 - Very energetic but also sloppy in possession. Think he would work ok with one of the other centre mids in a 2. Definitely lot a left winger. Albrighton 4 - Offered nothing. Vardy 8 - Thought he was the best player on the pitch today. Held the ball up well in the first half with no proper support and won us a point on his own. subs: Okazaki 5 - Worked very hard but nothing came off for him again. Dodoo 4 - Looked out of his depth. Benalouane n/a - Looks like an absolute car crash of a defender. Ranieri 3- The midfield 3 was a poor choice against Bournemouth's 4-4-2 - it negated one of our biggest assets which is the ability to turn over possession high up the pitch. Dodoo was a very strange sub. Bournemouth 5 - About as average as we were. Created absolutely nothing which was disappointing. Referee 1 - Absolutely atrocious. Bournemouth should have had a penalty in the first half (and possibly at the end?) and I don't understand how we didn't have a second penalty when Vardy nipped in before the defender and then got wiped out on the corner of the box. By this stage he'd totally lost control, completely falling for Gradel's impressive inability to stay on his feet when breathed on.

Aus Fox Posted 30 August 2015 Share Posted 30 August 2015 6 all around for me, apart from Kante and Vardy 7 and Schluup 8. Far Post Gerry Posted 30 August 2015 Share Posted 30 August 2015 7s for Schlupp, Kante and Morgan, and Vardy for single-handedly getting us a point. Bryn Posted 30 August 2015 Share Posted 30 August 2015 Schmeichel 6 - Hardly anything to do really. De Laet 3 - Appalling performance really in all domains, lucky to be on the pitch to be substituted. Yes he wasn't given a lot of protection by Mahrez but he never looked capable of controlling their right flank even when it was 1 on 1. New right back a must for me. Huth 5 - Positionally poor today and lucky not to see red. Morgan 7 - Covered Huth's back today. Schlupp 8 - Thought he was excellent defensively and offensively. The way he rinses players down the left I think we need to seriously consider signing a new left back and sticking him on the wing, his end product is vastly improved. He defended capably as well and Bournemouth didn't really get a sniff down our right side. Mahrez 5 - Rattled by that early clattering and never recovered, not surprised to hear he had in fact taken a knock. We should have subbed him earlier if that was the case. Took the disallowed goal wonderfully mind, unlucky for him but it was just about the correct decision from the linesman. Drinkwater 5 - Gives the ball away far too cheaply. Another one lucky to still be on the pitch, could easily have picked up two yellows. King 5 - Neat enough but hardly any impact. He struggled trying to cover the width of the pitch as the only holding midfielder in the first half, another victim of a misjudged tactical gamble. Kante 7 - Positionally he's all over the shop in the middle for me but he tackles brilliantly and breaks ups play really well. I'd worry about him in a midfield two because he doesn't read the game and hold his position particularly well, I get the impression Ranieri thinks the same. That's very coachable though, think he will turn out to be a really good player. Vardy 7 - Managed to turn in a really good performance with minimal service and the run for his goal was magic. His hold up play was really impressive. Deserved his goal. Okazaki 6 - Tactically we were much improved with far better shape for his introduction but he didn't do a tremendous amount as an individual. Dodoo 4 - A really poor decision to chuck him on and he didn't warrant the inclusion at all. Needs a loan spell out. Abdelouane 5 - Early days but I'm not not crazy about Benny, seems a rash defender. Ranieri 4 - Poor tactics at the start, changing the shape back got us the point but I think better substitutions would have won us the game, Bournemouth offered nothing second half. Ref 1 - Worst performance I've ever seen, it was a frenetic game and he got almost every major decision wrong. Think Bournemouth had more reason to be aggrieved than us, their first penalty claim was stonewall for me and we were very lucky to end the game with 11 men. Vardy should have won two penalties not one.
Harry - LCFC Posted 30 August 2015 Share Posted 30 August 2015 I'm not sure anyone deserves a 7. Kante and Schlupp played well for 15-20 minutes but were mediocre for the rest of the game, maybe Vardy merited one but that it in my opinion. Think our midfield had a bit of a shocker yesterday. Gave the ball away more than usual and in silly positions too, the high energy pressing wasn't there as it has been and they didn't seem to be able to support the strikers well at all. 4s and 3s except for Kante. Dan LCFC Posted 31 August 2015 Share Posted 31 August 2015 Schmeichel - Not really a lot he could've done about that goal. Not a lot else to judge him on either. 6 De Laet - Up there with the worst performance I've seen from one player in a Leicester shirt. The Sun have incredibly given him 7/10 on fantasy football. Literally nothing he did came off. I rarely drop this low for players but it's justified. 2 Huth - Lucky to not be sent off and should've done better with their goal. 4 Morgan - Can't really knock Morgan's performance. 6 Schlupp - Had a very good second half. He's become exceptionally good at beating his man on the outside. 7 Drinkwater - Needn't have bothered turning up. Shite. 4 King - See Drinkwater. 4 Kante - The pick of our midfield although that wasn't hard. Does some things very well and some badly. Definitely a different kind of option to have though. His energy is frightening. 7 Mahrez - A goal wrongly chalked off but otherwise off the pace. Poor. 5 Albrighton - Did hardly anything of note all game. 5 Vardy - Not a lone striker in a million years as he isn't the type to hold the ball up. Still ended up being the main reason we got anything from the game. 7 --- Okazaki - His position alone helped us. A lot of things didn't come off but I thought he did OK. 6 Dodoo - Embarrassing shot but didn't let it knock his confidence too much by the looks of things. Shouldn't have come on though really. 4 Benalouane - Was on for about 5 minutes, would've been unlucky if he'd conceded a penalty but still gave away a needless free-kick. I think he'd be good if he used his brain but he seems so rash. 3 Ranieri - Line-up was horrendous. We tried nullifying their threat as opposed to making the most of our own even though I'd say it's better, and yet we still couldn't keep the ball in midfield, although I'd say Okazaki normally drops deeper allowing us to keep the ball a bit higher up than what we lined up with in this game. Credit does go to him however for rectifying it fairly quickly, but Vardy got him out of jail today. Can forgive him if it's a learning curve but I don't want us lining up in that formation again, not until we've got the players to play it. 4 Bournemouth - Thought they were OK. Nothing special. Made to look a lot better than they are by how bad we are. 5 Officials - There needs to be something done about this now. I accept getting a bad referee every now and then but he was Gavin Ward level of embarrassing. Why do referees in this league blow every single time someone falls over regardless of what caused it? Pathetic bias to Bournemouth for the majority of the game but got the big decisions mostly wrong with Bournemouth being the losers. The two he got right were awarding our penalty for the foul on Vardy, and not giving one to Wilson. Other than that, he got the one on Tomlin wrong which was inside the box, he got the second one on Vardy wrong which was a penalty, before then allowing his assistant to hand the throw in to Bournemouth - which surely means that no Bournemouth player had taken the ball? He should've sent Huth off and Mahrez was onside, although that was the linesman. An absolute disgrace that the FA have allowed things to become such a complete utter mess. The standard is absolutely pathetic.
