bovril Posted 9 June 2016 Share Posted 9 June 2016 New single released tonight. From the name and cover art I'm guessing dad-rock ballad.
separator Posted 9 June 2016 Share Posted 9 June 2016 The new single is apparently 7 minutes long, hoping for a Fools Gold or I Am The Resurrection epic, though I expect bovril's dad rock comment is going to be closer.

Ok that's got my hopes up a bit...
bovril Posted 9 June 2016 Share Posted 9 June 2016 Well Christ that's better. Still sounds like a band trying a bit too hard to be the Stone Roses. But fvck it I actually quite like it.
separator Posted 9 June 2016 Share Posted 9 June 2016 Certainly better than the previous single, it's not really inspiring me to buy any new album though

Fox92 Posted 10 June 2016 Share Posted 10 June 2016 Don't know why they do it. Should've just stayed split up. You'll never see the Smiths and the Jam ever doing shite like this. A legacy is there so leave it.
Durnerz Posted 11 June 2016 Share Posted 11 June 2016 Love this new track, more like Brown's solo stuff.

foxxy Posted 16 June 2016 Share Posted 16 June 2016 New tracks are pretty good. Can't compare with the stuff of the past though.

Went to Etihad on Wednesday.. not a enjoyable as the 3-1 but was great fun.

the_tank Posted 17 June 2016 Share Posted 17 June 2016 May have misheard maybe £10 million total and probably for the world tour but still a good wedge.. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz/article-2093787/The-Stone-Roses-Mani-surprised-2million-bank-account.html
purpleronnie Posted 17 June 2016 Share Posted 17 June 2016 .. even the Sex Pistols did it! yep and how lame was that? Utterly embarrassing. Sometimes things should be left alone anything they do now will only taint the legacy they created. I remember squire saying he'd rather live my life than attempt to rehash it. It would be pointless. It's all a bit depressing really. No steps forward, several giant steps back.
Spiritwalker Posted 24 June 2016 Share Posted 24 June 2016 Went to the Etihad last Saturday to see the Stone Roses. Got to say, they were superb. Good mix of old tracks and a couple of new ones, and Brown's vocals were suprisingly good
Fox92 Posted 28 September 2016 Share Posted 28 September 2016 Announced gigs at Wembley. £70 why do they keep ripping off their fans??

FLAN Posted 4 October 2016 Share Posted 4 October 2016 Tickets were ridiculous price and stadium gigs are typically crap anyway. I got 2 online and didn't bother to go through when I thought about it. It's a shame but they've well and truly sold out now

Everyone was scrambling for them to begin with, but people eventually were desperate to get rid. Myself included, because of the Euros. I only got about £45 for it in the end.
