The ref was good in general, but he should have called the foul before their goal and booked Rooney for diving. Otherwise did ok; played an important part in our goal. Simpson 7 - Looks really accomplished at the moment. Huth 7 - Never troubled Morgan 7 - Never troubled Fuchs 8 - Great pass for the goal, otherwise perfectly competent defensively. Mahrez 7 - Had a terrible first 15 minutes or so but really grew into the game. Drinkwater 4 - Looked totally lost today. Has had a great season but Schweinsteiger was all over him in the first 10 minutes which I think must have unsettled him because very little came off for him. Kante 8 - Everywhere again. Albrighton 6 - Worked hard as usual. Okazaki 5 - Did a good job for the first 20 minutes or so but faded and needed replacing. Vardy 7 - Still doesn't look fully fit to me. Not running the channels with the same regularity and intensity as a few weeks ago. Still, brilliantly taken goal again. subs: Ulloa 5 - Failed to hold the ball up and wasted our best chance of the game. Played a lovely ball through to Vardy near the end but couldn't keep up with him. Schlupp 4 - Played 22 minutes. Attempted 0 passes. Made a couple of good tackles but was on another planet today. De Laet 6 - Decent little cameo. Claudio 7 Man United 6 - They are really good defensively but unbelievably dull. They've got a great base to the team but they're missing magic up front. Aus Fox Posted 29 November 2015 Share Posted 29 November 2015 Fuchs is on a different planet, while Mahrez, Kante and Vardy will get all the press this season, Fuchs is putting in phenomenal performances week after week. The ball he played through for the goal, if Hazard, Mata or Messi had put that through people would have been going on a bout it for ages, pure class. Vardy was excellent today, as was the back 4. We got a little over ran in midfield at times today but playing against a world cup winning midfielder and other established internationals that is going to happen in games against the top 4. Mahrez looks laxy at times glad someone else picked up on Mahrez. Left Simpson horribly exposed at times.. even near the end I saw Vardy shouting at him as he was wandering aimlessly. Always some brilliance thrown in but I just wish he put a bit more of a shift in sometimes. Great that we can pick so much fault with a draw against Man Utd while we are second in the league though. Okazaki just doesn't do it for me and he has to learn to stay on his feet, Kasper was brilliant for our goal and awful for their goal. Ulloa did well and has to start but think Schlupp needs a loan out somewhere or a kick up the arse. The Officials did well, thought United were poor today and you can see why the fans don't like his style of play.... Stil joint top... Up the City... Albrighton did some incredible stuff on that left side defensively and wanged a multiple of balls in to the path of Vardy et al - I think he deserves more credit for his performance than he's getting at the moment. Distribution first class though Fuchs 8 Excellent Morgan 7 Very good from Wes- not really troubled Huth 7 As above Simpson 7 Thought he did well against Young. Offers nothing going forward though Mahrez 8 He's absolutely brilliant. MOTM Drinkwater 5 Poorest I've seen him for a while. Gave the ball away a lot. Kante 7 Good again. Lots of interceptions. Would have liked to see him on the ball more but Man U completely stifled us in the middle of the park Albrighton 7 Really good game from him. Worked so hard Vardy 7 Incredible achievement. Don't think he's fully fit at the moment either Okazaki 4 Is he better than Nugent? So lightweight and doesn't hold the ball up. Frustrating Schlupp 5 Had one of those games he sometimes has where he looks half asleep De Laet 7 Nice to see him bombing down the right again.
