Number 6 Posted 9 February 2016 Share Posted 9 February 2016 Like it as a logo but agree about the patches. Guessing the champion's would just be an all gold version.

Harry - LCFC Posted 9 February 2016 Share Posted 9 February 2016 Should've been navy and shoud've picked a more imposing font. That one's too soft.
foxes_rule1978 Posted 9 February 2016 Share Posted 9 February 2016 Much preferred the old one , not liking this at all, just too simple I guess that is done so it works as an app icon too...

TheUltimateWinner Posted 9 February 2016 Share Posted 9 February 2016 Very simplistic, don't see it being as distinguishable as the current one, the whole thing looks like it was made using shapes in PowerPoint or something.
LCFC hub Posted 9 February 2016 Share Posted 9 February 2016 It's awful!! Serious Question.. Why do we have a lion as the logo?
Sharpe's Fox Posted 9 February 2016 Share Posted 9 February 2016 Only way it could be worse is if they did the font in Comic Sans. Dreadful.

Sir Shep Posted 9 February 2016 Share Posted 9 February 2016 I thought they were rebranding by calling it Profit League having decided that "Shafting real fans and squeezing as much out of them despite our massive increase in revenue league" was too much of a mouthful. The Blur Posted 9 February 2016 Share Posted 9 February 2016 It's awful!! Serious Question.. Why do we have a lion as the logo? I think it is because there is a connection between being British and lion which have connotations of being brave and loyal etc.
promised land Posted 9 February 2016 Share Posted 9 February 2016 It's awful!! Serious Question.. Why do we have a lion as the logo? There are two lions on the trophy above the handles, the third lion is represented by the captain when he holds it aloft after winning the league. A guess but the three lions probably comes from the England badge.

Jace Posted 9 February 2016 Author Share Posted 9 February 2016 I think my Leicester ego is getting too big this season, its now getting to the point where we are too good for this Premier League crap and only Champions League is good enough for us now.... Jordan Posted 9 February 2016 Share Posted 9 February 2016 While I originally wondered why the Premier League couldn't continue using its half-decent current branding but remove the Barclays logo... I think the main logo is nice, and I really like the overall versatility of the designs. However, those sleeve patches are just awful.

MC Prussian Posted 9 February 2016 Share Posted 9 February 2016 The design is so-so-la-la - the colour makes it look cheap, though. And there's nothing majestic or "premier" about the choice of font or its placement. Wonder how much this re-branding cost and who's going to get all that money in his pocket. Westerby Posted 9 February 2016 Share Posted 9 February 2016 I wasn't sure whether it was Haloween or Phantom Of The Opera. Have I missed Lord Andrew Lloyd Webber being named the next Premier League sponsor?
