Leicester City Merchandise

Recommended Posts

Hi All

Just a quick question. Does anyone know if the club sell the jackets that the players walk out with on before the game in the fanstore? I could've swore I seen them on lcfc Direct but I can't seem to find them now.

Thanks

It's ridiculous how many things go out of stock. I remember the 3rd kit sold out after a week and took about 2 months to restock. Whoever is in charge of managing the merchandise side of things needs to get their sh*t together.

yes of course they should. whoever manages the merchandise should definitely have predicted we would be top of the league and sales of club gear would increase by 100's of %.

one of the most stupid things I have seen on here.

our gear is made by puma, one of the largest sporting brands in the world. we don't just pop round to the local knitwear shop down the saff and ask for a few extra shirts for next week.

Being top of the league has nothing to do with it. It was exactly the same situation for lots of the merchandise last season when we were bottom

They're forever running out of stuff. Like many retailers, they are paralysed with fear that they will have too much stuff and be left with stock they can't sell. So they under order and have no way of responding quickly when items sell out. I appreciate it is difficult but they had run out of kids goalie shirts at Christmas. And at least twice they have run out of letters for shirt names which is frankly ridiculous.

I don't think the annual replacement of the kit helps. There's a whole new range of training wear etc every year.

Pre Season and Christmas are manic and after that you wouldn't expect much demand, they can't win either they're short of stock or are left with having to discount what they have over ordered.

A 'normal' season and they would have been fine.
