Anything can/will happen in British sport during the rest of 2016 and it will be probably dominated by the Olympics unless England win the Euro's. Ranieri will get something - they'll make up an award. If England do win the Euros (we have a chance, assuming Rooney and Wilshere get [even more] injured beforehand) Vardy will have been the reason - and he will win SPOTY. Phube Posted 23 August 2016 Share Posted 23 August 2016 I just realised at work today, the absolute shoe-in of LCFC being the Team of the Year has just been thrown in the air with Team GB doing ridiculously well in Brazil. It could easily go to Team GB, Ladies GB Hockey... Being biased I still think we should get it because Team GB should have finished somewhere near the top of the medal table and Ladies hockey should have reached the semi's at least.
