Albums you haven't listened to for ages but then when you do listen to them you wonder why you didn't listen to them for ages

Recommended Posts

Not listened to it for ages and they left their mark on me in a way no other band did, but once I listened to it I remembered why I left it so long!

Not an album to listen to alone but then again not one to stick on when you've got company.lol

All the same a classic of the concentration camp genre.

This is amazing, ive always discounted it as being over produced by Spector and just seen it for its commercialism,, but ts brilliant. Get Back is pure simple rocknroll.

I personally think it could have been better. Originally the likes of 'Dont Let Me Down' were included (for when it was Get Back) but agree it's a good album. I think some people don't like it because it almost signals the end really.

But yeah, 'Get Back' is brilliant. As is 'Dig A Pony' which is one of my favourite Beatles songs.

Audioslave set the bar too high for themselves when Cochise was their lead single because it's a bloody belter. Show Me How To Live was decent too, I guess. Reckon on his game Cornell is one of the best vocalists in the world, Say Hello To Heaven by Temple of the Dog is unreal, peak Cornell.

I hate to be overly obvious on this but Superunknown must surely be peak Cornell.

Oh and I'd personally I'd have Show Me > Cochise.

Not their best album but one I've listened to a lot recently.

Emit Remmus from that album is about Anthony Kiedis' affair with Mel C from the Spice Girls.. plus it's summer time spelt backwards. blew my mind when I found that out recently
