Albums you haven't listened to for ages but then when you do listen to them you wonder why you didn't listen to them for ages

I don't mind it tbf. Thought I wouldn't like Sex Pistols but I brought that on the back of hearing "Anarchy in the UK". Not as bad as I thought it would be, I can listen to it without skipping any songs.

I'm not convinced it has drastically more soul than something like Green Day - American Idiot.

 

It brought punk to a wider audience because it was cleverly marketed and publicized but it's not exactly deep on any level. 

 

I'll give you passion, though.

I played there whole discography through on a Sunday a few weeks back. So good.

 

yeah doing similar atm, in reverse order. about half way through demon days, very good listening. listened to about half of plastic beach driving home in the late sun on friday evening, was very nice.
