Goddard Posted 18 May 2013 Posted 18 May 2013 So, me and two mates have had season tickets in the same seats for the last three years and for this time we have sat next to the same people with very little change in faces. Funny thing is, we don't know one persons name around us. Which leads me to the question, do you actually know the names of the people who sit near you? Funnily enough we do have nicknames which generally are of people they all look like, there's a Steve Walsh, Gary Mcallister and a big Nige, to name but a few.
LCFC FOX Posted 18 May 2013 Posted 18 May 2013 Have wheres wally sat in front of me this season in N1
Goddard Posted 18 May 2013 Author Posted 18 May 2013 And if anyone sits in sk1, surely they have seen the Nigel Pearson lookalike I am talking about. He is spitting image.
Bob Weasel Fox Posted 18 May 2013 Posted 18 May 2013 And if anyone sits in sk1, surely they have seen the Nigel Pearson lookalike I am talking about. He is spitting image.Does he usually come back to his seat midway through the second half and then substitute himself for a shitter fan?
NewburyFox Posted 18 May 2013 Posted 18 May 2013 There's a guy called Dave a few rows in front of me. I only know this because it says Davestar on his shirt.
EnderbyFox Posted 18 May 2013 Posted 18 May 2013 I've got the delightful duo of miserable twat and mardy cvnt sat in front of me
Simmo86 Posted 18 May 2013 Posted 18 May 2013 Yeah know loads of the people around me. Been in the same seat for 10 years. Be strange not to know anybody.
Tommy G Posted 18 May 2013 Posted 18 May 2013 We've got sky sports sitting behind us, literally give updates on all the games from around the country at the time including score updates, goal scores etc. surprised they actually watch the game. One of them even logs onto his fantasy football app during the game to check his game week points!
StanSP Posted 18 May 2013 Posted 18 May 2013 Surely if you sit in the middle of your two mates, you should know the names of the people beside you ?!
Bellend Sebastian Posted 18 May 2013 Posted 18 May 2013 Moving seats again next season, so won't know anyone, not that we did this time having moved again this season. We're like gypsies or something. Mind you, I'll be glad to get away from the sour faced woman who sits a few seats from us who theatrically rolls her eyes and mutters everytime she has to stand up to let us through. She doesn't bother me unduly - she's just a miserable old bastard as far as I'm concerned, but I have worried in the past that sooner or later someone is going to punch her in the face, leading to a right old fuss. Anything for a quiet life
The Year Of The Fox Posted 18 May 2013 Posted 18 May 2013 Yeh know a few who stand behind us by name. I know a few others around us outside of having a STs there. I know the lad in front of me by face and enough to nod to and that's about it.
Corky Posted 18 May 2013 Posted 18 May 2013 Sat in my current seat for 4 years, don't know anyone's name. The only person I know of was Jim from the ticket office, who sat to my left a couple of rows in front.
Raj Posted 18 May 2013 Posted 18 May 2013 I've got the delightful duo of miserable twat and mardy cvnt sat in front of meCould be any one of about 15,000!!!!
The Year Of The Fox Posted 18 May 2013 Posted 18 May 2013 This place makes you laugh though to some extent. So many people are very suspicious/reluctant to post their seat location or even what block they're in on here for some reason. The chances are everyone posting on this thread will be sat close to someone else on here. So if you're near Seat 306 Row MM in L block- come say hi (or lynch me as some would prefer!)
Bayfox Posted 18 May 2013 Posted 18 May 2013 Stood at the back of sk1 since day 1 at the walkers and the guys in front have been the same since about 8 years ago. Not a clue on any of them. Sad really. Only guy who talks to us comes down on his own from chester every week. Fair play seems a top bloke as well. But still have no clue what his name is.

whoareyaaa Posted 18 May 2013 Posted 18 May 2013 there used to be a steward in L1 who we nicknamed "Flick" because he used to constantly blow his long fringe of hair up every minute don't know if hes still knocking about.

Can't say I pay any attention to them mate! I'll look out for him next season
Danno Posted 18 May 2013 Posted 18 May 2013 Some miserable old couple sit next to me, never let you past without a fuss, and when they do they just move their legs so you have to squeeze past them. *****
kyleolly Posted 18 May 2013 Posted 18 May 2013 Damon hill sits in front of me and jumpy, clappy flash dash man sits next to me

Clazie Posted 18 May 2013 Posted 18 May 2013 Campbell, The Bear, Angry Bloke and Robbie Nielson all knock about sk4. That counts as knowing them, right?
