Super_horns Posted 29 August 2013 Share Posted 29 August 2013 Easy for Chelsea. Man U SHOULD be ok if they play well enough. Nightmare for Arsenal and Celtic.
Corky Posted 29 August 2013 Share Posted 29 August 2013 Lovely to see Paulo Sousa there doing the draw, looking very suave in his suit. Didn't discuss his 9 games with us though. Can't wait until next year when NP is invited along wearing his training gear and sparkling white trainers.
Fox92 Posted 29 August 2013 Share Posted 29 August 2013 Horrid for Arsenal and Celtic, I agree. Lennon's reaction was quality, think he knows they are out. Hopefully all five British teams get through though.

ScouseFox Posted 29 August 2013 Share Posted 29 August 2013 United's group is tougher than everyone's saying. Not many people win at Leverkusen (only Bayern and Dortmund managed it in the League the whole of last season, with only 3 other teams managing to take anything other than a spanking). Shakhtar caused Chelsea so many problems they went out last season, and nobody looks forward to a trip to Ukraine. And I reckon Sociedad could turn it on and destroy most people on their day, very entertaining, free flowing attacking team. As well as Moyes never being in the CL before, gonna be interesting. City should easy finish 2nd. Chelsea should win their group and good luck to Arsenal, cos that's a tough'un.
Guest MattP Posted 29 August 2013 Share Posted 29 August 2013 City and Chelsea look fairly comfy. Man U's a right banana skin and Arsenal's looks nightmare.

foxfanazer Posted 29 August 2013 Share Posted 29 August 2013 Can't see Arsenal qualifying, Chelsea will, United should just about scrape through and City will lose twice to Bayern but beat the other teams
Jaspa Posted 29 August 2013 Share Posted 29 August 2013 How did Napoli end up in Pot.4? Agree United could find it very hard, Chelsea should breeze it and Man C have a chance if theyre set up for it. Celtic will need something even more special than before, minus Wanyama, Hooper and Wilson
Sharpe's Fox Posted 29 August 2013 Share Posted 29 August 2013 Arsenal will really have to switch it on to qualify this year. Man U's could really be a banana skin if they don't take the opposition seriously, but they are favorites. Chelsea should really boss that group. Man City can comfortably get into second. Celtic are out.

blueblood88 Posted 30 August 2013 Share Posted 30 August 2013 Not sure why Arsenal's group is such a nightmare? Ok, Borussia Dortmund will top it, but I can't see Marseille or Napoli finishing above Arsenal. They always perform decently in Europe.

Guest ttfn Posted 30 August 2013 Share Posted 30 August 2013 Milan and Ajax aren't exactly shit hot. The Celtoc side of last year might have got out of that group. Unfortunately now that the Champions League games are the only worthwhile fixtures in their calendar, all their best players are leaving and nobody good wants to go there.
