MC Prussian Posted 6 February 2014 Share Posted 6 February 2014 Wow, EA Sports does really care about tournament mode on FIFA 14. So much that they have to release a new game to make even more money.
Dan LCFC Posted 6 February 2014 Share Posted 6 February 2014 Gone back to conning you I see then. After their 'effort' for FIFA 14 it'll take me a hell of a game to go there again.

If given the opportunity to make even more money, then you're going to do it. They need to invest some money into their servers though.

Thats' the irony of it all - they've made and they're still making shitloads of money from the FIFA franchise, yet are audacious enough to trying to milk us all even more, with extra content that could've been included in the actual FIFA 14 (or 13) from the start! They have the money already, they just don't want to invest it properly. I guess it's down to shareholder value.
Charl91 Posted 6 February 2014 Share Posted 6 February 2014 No way on earth am I buying this. They'll be lucky if I buy a Fifa game ever again after Fifa 14.
stu Posted 6 February 2014 Share Posted 6 February 2014 Not being released on Next Gen though! That's a bit pants...
Stinkenzo Posted 6 February 2014 Share Posted 6 February 2014 I would think owning Fifa 14 on next gen where i've heard its actually good, and the devs haven't completely turned their back on it like they have on the 360, it might balance it up a little. I'd like to think after the way 360/PS3 users have been treated by Fifa this year that i'd never buy another Fifa again. Shame I probably wouldnt be able to keep to my word though. sk3since03 Posted 7 February 2014 Share Posted 7 February 2014 Surely they could of just put World Cup mode on FIFA 14 !.but where there's money to be made it'll be made ! Really starting to dislike EA
Stadt Posted 7 February 2014 Share Posted 7 February 2014 Biggest money grabbers in gaming? I'd say so.
Manwell Pablo Posted 7 February 2014 Share Posted 7 February 2014 Let's be fair to them. I know EA are an increasingly greedy company, but EA World cup games have been coming out since 1998, this is nothing new. I had 2010, and really enjoyed it, the game play was much closer to FIFA 11 than 10, the games do capture the atmosphere players and stadiums of the World cup really well, the nostalgic historical scenarios are worth a play through, and the online world cup is a great game mode. I agree £40 is too much, unless there adding another game mode like they did with Euro 2012s risk type game. £25-£30 would be more more reasonable for a game such as this but they haven't had a problem selling these titles since France 98 so if people will pay that that's what EA will price it at. Finally putting a proper authentic World Cup mode into FIFA 14 wouldn't be possible for numerous reasons it's a big job.
lgfualol Posted 7 February 2014 Share Posted 7 February 2014 Fycking hell £40? Those bastards. Just make it a DLC for a tenner and it'll sell tons.

I'm guessing that I don't know if it's been priced yet. It'll be too big for that, and it'll sell tons anyway.
Beliall Posted 7 February 2014 Share Posted 7 February 2014 i traded fifa 12, waited for the euro game to come out and it was DLC!! couldnt believe it. ill not be getting another tournament cash in.
ousefox Posted 7 February 2014 Share Posted 7 February 2014 Just don't buy it then! It's not like a decision on going to a football game where you find it hard not to pay the inflated prices as you desperately don't want to miss a game. The world cup game in 2010 was class too. LeicesterBran Posted 22 February 2014 Share Posted 22 February 2014 I loved the 2010 World Cup Game. The WC is every four years and I love playing the WC games and will definitely purchase it for my Xbox 360.

South Africa 2010 is my favourite football game ever.

Manwell Pablo Posted 27 February 2014 Share Posted 27 February 2014 This is the Road to Rio De Janiero thing isn't it? just basically seasons but with international sides? As far as new game modes go it's a little lazy although at least it's something.
