Andy Peake v Liverpool in 1980 not to shabby either! Remember the Watford game 4-1, scored 2 crackers that day on match of the day as well!

Almost forgot Gary Coatsworth stunning volley from 25 yards vs Luton, much derided but scored a couple of gems plus put in the 'cross' for walshy to head in at wembley!

Joachim against Millwall when we beat them 4-0

I wonder if that's the one I can remember? Joachim steamed down the east stand wing towards the family stand. Hit it quite far out with the outside of his foot, bent it in like a motherfvcker. Great goal.

Tony James vs Oxford. In off his bollocks to stop us being relegated to the third division.

Tragically I think I only saw 6 goals at Filbo. 3 against Firentina in a pre-season friendly and a 3-0 win against Bradford.

And I can't remember any of them lol

Rooster Russell v Tranmere in injury time many years ago - not sure it was the best goal but I thought the roof was going to come off the kop end at that moment - deafening.
That and Muzzy's v spurs - went with some spurs mates and to this day have said everytime they tried to get a song going, they got drowned out by the city fans.

A bit like the KP ;-)

Probably, he scored a few goals like that from a ball out of defence or from Thompson in midfield, using his ridiculous pace to beat the opposition & firing it past the keeper, often from 20+Yards

Plenty, but the one I will always remember was a superb own goal, by Peter Rodrigues from outside the right hand side of the penalty area. The over hit back pass sailed into the top left hand corner of Peter Shilton's net. A real cracker, though "Shilts" didn't appreciate it.

It has to be Bergkamp's hat trick goal in the 3-3 draw for me.

It was my first ever night game as well so found memories of the game.

Keith Weller in his tights.

I agree, It's got to be Weller in his tights

OR

The Weller goal that use to be used at the start of MOTD when he volleys in a corner from the edge of the box.

Big mention to the Andy Peake goal against Liverpool.

And of course, the Tony James goal that kept us up.

So many goals, loved them all (that we scored)
Hated the ones against us, maybe I'm just not magnanimous enough to appreciate goals by the opposition.

Does anyone remember Gunlaugsson's free kick against Newcastle? Absolutely superb technique, bent it around the wall right past Given into the top corner. No keeper could've saved it.

That, Stanley's volley against Sunderland and Muzzy's v Spurs from those I saw.

Lenny Glover scored an absolute belter against Stoke, past Gordon Banks, in 1972. Hit the net before Banks could move. There was another I remember, Chris Garland scored it to finish off something like a 20 pass move....can't remember who it was against tho.....might have been West Ham or Wolves!

I know a Norwich fan that hates the mention of that goal.

Really was a lesson about taking the piss.

Seeing Weller stood infront of them just pointing at his tights was classic. (shut the fvck up lol)

James's goal was not great just what it did was great. (still blame mandi for us going down you can't change managers like he did and get away with it  :( )

If I remember rightly that was against Man Utd, though seem to recall Heskey doing a back heeled volley - I may be wrong though.
