Harry - LCFC Posted 10 April 2014 Share Posted 10 April 2014 I don't want us to become part of this neon trend either. Bolton's kit is so bright the players look like digital animations on the FLS. Save that kind of colour for the stewards please...

Ashley Posted 11 April 2014 Share Posted 11 April 2014 Been told the away kit is going to be red. Anyone else been told this? With our Thai owners in charge. No chance. Red is anti government.

Wilson_6 Posted 11 April 2014 Share Posted 11 April 2014 Oh god these are horrid! http://www.footyheadlines.com/2013/08/puma-2014-world-cup-14-15-2014-15.html I like these new ones though! The new Puma Peñarol 2014 Kits were unveiled yesterday at the palace "Cr Gastón Güelf". The kits of the Uruguayan defending league champion kits are again made by Puma. Each kit features the club colors yellow and black, which would not be allowed in Europe and could cause a color clash against a black / yellow opponent. The new Peñarol 2014 Home Kit will be worn for the first time in today's Copa Libertadores match against Deportivo Anzoategui. PUMA PEÑAROL 2014 KITS These are the new Peñarol 2014 Kits (Left: Third | Center: Home | Right: Away) Like these though!

Far Post Gerry Posted 12 April 2014 Share Posted 12 April 2014 With our Thai owners in charge. No chance. Red is anti government. Right now red is pro-government, but I know what you mean. Yellow is the symbolic royal colour in Thailand, so it's more likely to be that.

Not all foreign owners are like that, ours don't appear to be loonies like Tan or Allam. So far we've had black, white and grey. Pretty standard stuff really. FoxInTheBirstallBox Posted 12 April 2014 Share Posted 12 April 2014 The Italy/Switzerland template isn't horrendous but I hope we get a better one however unlikely that is. It'll probably be revealed in late July as usual. It'll be nice to have a shirt with a nice collar again, not the flimsy Burra tatt or the 16th century fox leisure tudor collar

Fox in the North Posted 12 April 2014 Share Posted 12 April 2014 I quite liked the all white away kit a couple of years back. Maybe that, or white with blue pinstripes and blue shorts?
Ricey Posted 12 April 2014 Share Posted 12 April 2014 Liking the Chesterfield template. Them using it in blue/white means I doubt we will. Looks like they've sorted the long sleeves and stupidly high badges.

I agree, I don't think our owners are like that at all. I was just saying they won't choose red for political reasons.

Ashley Posted 12 April 2014 Share Posted 12 April 2014 How is a red away kit in any way "traditional?" We have had 9 red away kits, 9 yellow, 10 white. So yeah it would be a traditional kit for us.
Carl the Llama Posted 12 April 2014 Share Posted 12 April 2014 I cannot get my head around this obsession with having a red away kit. We've got to represent for all the East Midlands don't forget. 3rd kit will probably be all white.
