ROB-THE-BLUE Posted 20 April 2014 Share Posted 20 April 2014 Seriously, did we loan a waxwork dummy of him last season? Playing out of his skin for Spurs at the moment!
sdb Posted 20 April 2014 Share Posted 20 April 2014 We probably should've tried him up front! Personally I think it's a bit of a purple patch and he'll end up a pretty mediocre Prem player. Could be wrong!
lgfualol Posted 20 April 2014 Share Posted 20 April 2014 Well when you have Eriksen on your team it's easy to get goals
Lionator Posted 20 April 2014 Share Posted 20 April 2014 He's still crap. It's just that Spurs create so many chances, that eventually you just have to score.
Bob Weasel Fox Posted 20 April 2014 Share Posted 20 April 2014 To be fair to the lad he is only still young and he will get better than the quality we saw Mind you that's not hard
LCCFox96 Posted 20 April 2014 Share Posted 20 April 2014 He's got some talent. Needs some first team football to realise it. He getting that now at Spurs and scoring a few. I reckon he'll do alright for Spurs if they keep using him.
LcFc_Smiv Posted 20 April 2014 Share Posted 20 April 2014 I kept telling myself last season that when he came on he would eventually make an impact, that day never came for Leicester!
Buzzell Posted 20 April 2014 Share Posted 20 April 2014 Looked out of his depth here with us but obviously he has knuckled down since then. Good luck to the lad.
Dickov22 Posted 20 April 2014 Share Posted 20 April 2014 He came here when we were on a dire run and was played mostly out wide. Never stood a chance really! Nice to see an English striker getting a chance in the prem
theessexfox Posted 20 April 2014 Share Posted 20 April 2014 If he can make it as a professional footballer there's hope for everyone - a few streaky goals in an (at the moment) dominant side doesn't alter that.
lcfcsnow Posted 20 April 2014 Share Posted 20 April 2014 He never looked interested here but when we brought him in we were still persisting with the Wood/Nugent partnership which just didn't and still doesn't work now. Thankfully it seems Pearson has finally realised.
cc_star Posted 20 April 2014 Share Posted 20 April 2014 He did well in a couple of games coming on., but sometimes looked awful. Don't forget we were having to play 433 to stem the losses to get in the play-offs Balance & attitude of the team wasn't what it is now as time has gone on & coaching has had longer to have an impact on players who were signed at the right age to grow together & improve, not to mention Pearson's way having impact on the players more & more over time. No bad apples to upset the applecart either.
Fox92 Posted 20 April 2014 Share Posted 20 April 2014 I find it funny how quick some people are to write these players off. Kane, Keane etc - they are young lads and are still developing. Kane didn't look too interested for us, more like a luxary player, but he's obviously got some ability because not only is he playing for Spurs at the minute, he's on a four year contract. Mack Posted 20 April 2014 Share Posted 20 April 2014 The situation did not work out for Kane with us. However he did well in other loan spells elsewhere (Millwall for example) and looks a real young talent. Good luck to him.
Hungry Hungry Fox Posted 20 April 2014 Share Posted 20 April 2014 Spurs a dominant side? Yes they won yesterday but have hardly been dominant

suffolk fox Posted 20 April 2014 Share Posted 20 April 2014 Still wish he had taken that penalty last season at Watford. He wanted too we could have had a day out at Wembley.
theessexfox Posted 20 April 2014 Share Posted 20 April 2014 Spurs a dominant side? Yes they won yesterday but have hardly been dominant I mean in the games he's recently scored in... Fulham they had a lot of chances, Sunderland they won 5-1, etc...
Jace Posted 20 April 2014 Share Posted 20 April 2014 My mates who support Spurs religiously think he is absolutely dog shite so Im not going to get carried away by a few goals from him on MOTD
Socks Posted 20 April 2014 Share Posted 20 April 2014 nah hes shite I would rather have Connor Wickham though if Sunderland go down ? What does anyone else think ? Him Vardy and Nuge upfront wood be good in PL

Steve_Guppy_Left_Foot Posted 20 April 2014 Share Posted 20 April 2014 Was awful for us so he'll always be shit for me, couldn't care less what he does or doesn't do for Spurs.
Kitchandro Posted 20 April 2014 Share Posted 20 April 2014 nah hes shite I would rather have Connor Wickham though if Sunderland go down ? What does anyone else think ? Him Vardy and Nuge upfront wood be good in PL We need someone with more pace in case Vardy is out. Other than him we are so immobile, even Nugent is a bit heavy on his feet in comparison. Corky Posted 20 April 2014 Share Posted 20 April 2014 Shoving him on the left wing didn't help, having said that he didn't look impressive at all, maybe we were the wrong move for him at the time.
Bert Posted 20 April 2014 Share Posted 20 April 2014 I just think it's no coincidence that he's doing well because he's playing in his proper position, not stuck out wide.
