Premier League 2014/15 Stuff it in here.

Have these foreign managers started at the bottom of their leagues granted they don't go down as far as we do.

Bobby's Charlton and Moore were complete failures as managers.

I don’t see the new breed of owner — with their ‘keep throwing money at it and eventually you’ll be all right’ approach — giving British coaches a chance.

You seem to have found plenty Harry

Also, can you imagine them selling out an arena in Seattle when Palace & Stoke rock up?

They would sell out Seattle for Palace & Stoke inside of 10 minutes of the tickets going on sale.

I'm not advocating that any of this nonsense happen, but Seattle would pack in 70K for a meaningful League Two match. A lot of US Stadiums would likely sell out, but Seattle or Portland would do it within moments.

Arsenal: Mesut Ozil out for up to 12 weeks with knee injury

Arsenal's Mesut Ozil has been ruled out for up to 12 weeks with a knee injury.

The 25-year-old midfielder, who is on international duty with Germany, played 90 minutes in Arsenal's 2-0 defeat at Chelsea on Sunday.

But he arrived at the German camp with a problem in his left knee and an MRI scan in Munich on Wednesday showed damage to the joint.

The Gunners are already without injured midfielders Aaron Ramsey andMikel Arteta .

A statement on the German Football Association website read: "The MRI examination revealed a partial rupture of the outer band of the left knee joint.

"The treatment is... six weeks of immobilisation of the knee joint. Mesut Ozil is likely to be out [for] 10 to 12 weeks."

If the diagnosis is correct, it means Ozil may not be available to Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger until after Christmas.

How did he manage that? Barely manages to break sweat.

I ****ing hate that overseas thing.

Imagine if say, West Brom and Burnley were on the same points going into the last day of the season and they were 17th and 18th. The "39th fixture draw" comes out and West Brom get Chelsea, whilst Burnley have QPR. Even if it's not the last day of the season, someone will pick up vital and unfair points somewhere. Also, can you imagine them selling out an arena in Seattle when Palace & Stoke rock up?

Yeah agree. The 39th fixture idea is an absolute non-starter. Ridiculous idea for these reasons.

They will just end up playing 1 regular League game abroad. Like the NFL do.

I appreciate the complete unfairness to the fans who like to go to the games. But it would be great to watch us play a meaningful game in an 80,000 stadium somewhere in the US for example.

Go Foxes!

It would be absolutely horrendous and everything football shouldn't be. A ground 99% full of people who have absolutely no attachment to Leicester City what so ever getting to experience our own club in a meaningful game whilst the actual fans of the club are sat there watching on TV. Wrong on every single level.

Football is becoming more and more American-like all the time. Not for me and never ever will be.

You seen QPR and Newcastle fixtures coming up ? Harry and Al be gone by Christmas

In theory we really should be able to stick some points between ourselves and those two in the next couple of months. Winning at Loftus Road again would be a superb step towards us staying up.

How ironic then that the MLS is threatening to become everything the Premier League should have been / should be with regards to set up. I'm not sure what you're getting at with that sentence.

Consideration and support of fans from clubs themselves, reasonable pricing, a necessity to focus on developing young, homegrown players, sides spending within their means.

They're doing it right over there. Our league is entertaining but the persuit of it and sustaining status cripples some clubs. Bolton for example won't be right for a very very long time barring a miracle.

Double checked so as not to make a nob of myself. Twelve British managers currently in the prem, nearly all British in the lower leagues.

Plus Poyett and Martinez who played out the large part of their playing career here, retired here and went in to management. Not exactly imported in just to coach.

I see what you're getting at with the MLS, but that wasn't what I meant. Was more to do with the likes of NFL which is absolutely dominated by commercialism and money making at all costs.

Maybe but at least the NFL believe their sport is better with a level playing field and spread the NFL income relatively evenly meaning they get a whole lot of different teams winning the Superbowl, not too bad for a country that believes wholeheartedly in the survival of the fittest.

I adore your defense of the MLS and I also think it's a great league with lots of potential.

However, you have to take into consideration that it's still a relatively young establishment, with tons of enthusiasm working in its favour, coming from clubs (owners), fans as well as the media. The MLS also caters to an impressive home market already, there's so much money to be made in the US alone through marketing.

And there's that thing called salary cap, too. Which helps spending within your means.

Also, other traditional US sports are losing general affection - just think of all the recent NFL scandals and the following public outrage, for instance. Soccer still has that "pure" image and it helps boosting its accessibility.

fernando should've scored then too. what either defence is playing at i have no idea lol bad enough defending poorly in any game, when you're just letting aguero, silva, eriksen, lamela and co do whatever they want in the final third you're asking for trouble. and entertainmenttttt
