Somebody MUST be able to help?! Flag...

Recommended Posts

Morning lads,

I'm in need of a Leicester City flag, with the badge on.

We are currently in the middle of creating our new flag for next season, and part of it will need the Leicester badge.

The megastore used to sell them, 5ft x 3ft ones, but no longer on the site and none on eBay.

I could do with getting it this week so I can get it to my tailors ASAP, as Rangers visit Derby next Saturday with 8500 of us going.

Wouldn't mind having the Leicester badge on in time, think it'll look nice hung in Derby City centre.   :scarf:

Let me know if anybody can help, appreciated.

Dan.

Nothing in there pal, popped in yesterday!

Somebody must have one around the house they dont use.

Can sort them a few beers out!

I went in yesterday and they still have both the champions and we are premier league flags. On the display wall near the tills. 10 quid each.

Yep. Head towards the tills where the rope line starts near the sweets and then look back towards the shop if you see what I mean that wall that faces the tills still has them.

what's the Leicester/Rangers connection?

Quite a lot support both, I know a few, mostly lads who have parents that moved to Corby etc that have decided to support City but also who their parents followed.

The Corby Rangers club is the biggest supporters club for the Auld Firm outside of Glasgow.

I have a flag. St George's cross, city badge top left and leicester city across the middle.

what's the Leicester/Rangers connection?

The Rangers/Leicester connection is from the Jock Wallace, RIP, days in the early eighties. The great man signed many of his compatriots that formed the Championship winning team of 1979. Massive blow when he left us.

I don't do this 'second' team thing but, if I did, it could only be Rangers. Always look out for their results and catch as much as I can on the telly. Looking forward to their return to Scottish champions.

8500 fans going to an away friendly?

Rangers and Celtic both take massive followings to away friendlies.

They are usually mostly locals.
