langtonfox Posted 28 July 2014 Share Posted 28 July 2014 Sorry lcfc fox, this is totally irrelevant to the post but it bugs me every time I see it - it's "olé ", not olay (that's the cream)
Jace Posted 28 July 2014 Share Posted 28 July 2014 I think someone should report this to the club because they really shouldn't advertise their services when they take our money not even show the match and not offer a refund, I've emailed them several times now and they haven't refunded it
cc_star Posted 28 July 2014 Share Posted 28 July 2014 Wiziwig! Works every time, can even watch it on my TV thanks to Chrome on my laptop and the cheapo Chromecast thingy
Jace Posted 28 July 2014 Share Posted 28 July 2014 Wiziwig! Works every time, can even watch it on my TV thanks to Chrome on my laptop and the cheapo Chromecast thingy Thats what most of us ended up watching it on in the end worked fine, a great example of why its pointless trying to do the right thing and purchase the match legally
andog Posted 28 July 2014 Share Posted 28 July 2014 £1.99 for a HD stream of your team playing nearly 6,000 miles away against another Premier League team isn't that bad in all fairness. Wiziwig is great, but no guarantee prior to kick off that it will stream, or whether that stream will last. On this occasion it was a lot more reliable than the Livesport.tv shit! Gary Eatfood Posted 30 July 2014 Share Posted 30 July 2014 Thats what most of us ended up watching it on in the end worked fine, a great example of why its pointless trying to do the right thing and purchase the match legally Wiziwig is perfectly legal, they just host the links. If it was illegal the site wouldn't be operating still.

I asked for an update and they just said they're getting in contact with the right department to discuss compensation and get back to me when info is received. Jace Posted 31 July 2014 Share Posted 31 July 2014 are people seriously trying to get £1.99 refunded? It didn't work so why would anyone want to pay for it? It was £3.99 anyway for many of us
65RosesFox Posted 31 July 2014 Share Posted 31 July 2014 are people seriously trying to get £1.99 refunded? Mine was £3.99 but it's not about the money. It's the principle, probably 100's of City fans paid for the service and never received it. So that £3.99 soon turns in to £1000's. If you paid for a pint at a bar but never recieved the pint, even though it's "not much" wouldn't you be asking for the drink or your money back? This isn't any different. Sir Fynwy Posted 31 July 2014 Share Posted 31 July 2014 If people aren't bothered by paying a few quid for a service and then not receiving it I'll start working on a business plan, just need to decide what I should charge for not doing anything.
