Narborough_fox Posted 3 November 2014 Share Posted 3 November 2014 Won 3-2. Barmby with a 92nd minute winner. Fully deserved as well, looked the much better team (especially in the first half) and could have won by more in all honesty. Knockaert and Lawrence looked really good with both willing to take their player on. Barmby looked very comfortable at LB as well.

davieG Posted 11 November 2014 Share Posted 11 November 2014 A date and venue have now been confirmed for the Barclays U21 Premier League Cup clash between Leicester City's Development Squad and Leeds United. The round of 32 fixture will take place on Tuesday 9 December at Nuneaton Town’s James Parnell Stadium, with a 7pm kick-off. The draw for the round of 32 took place earlier this month, and sees the Foxes, who are full of confidence on the back of wins over Manchester United and Manchester City, handed a difficult test. As an elite team at Under-21s level, City enter the competition at the round of 32 stage, while Leeds advanced courtesy of an emphatic 6-0 victory at home to Doncaster Rovers. Last season City beat Sheffield Wednesday 4-1 at this stage of the competition before succumbing to defeat away at Newcastle United. However with momentum building after wins over both Manchester sides in their previous two games as well as a double header of European fixtures against Schalke and Benfica later this month, they will be hoping to go even further in the competition this time around. Ticket details for the match will be confirmed in due course.
