Devonfox1884 Posted 31 August 2014 Share Posted 31 August 2014 Morgan MOTM for me, gave him a 9, with Schlupp, Moore and Ulloa all getting 8's.
Guest Posted 31 August 2014 Share Posted 31 August 2014 when do the results get put up btw? Schmeical 7. Everybody else 9 except Nuge whose tireless running and link up play gave him MOTD for me. It's not all about goals. Schlupp was superb though - I've severely criticised him recently but he put in a great performance.

RedSoxUK Posted 31 August 2014 Share Posted 31 August 2014 Mostly 7s RDL a 9 on the attack, a 6 on defence Schlupp 8 - was great Ulloa - 8, thought he should have done better with his chance. Hammond a 4, showed why he's been playing second fiddle for us, one good performance doesn't make him a starter and today showed.
Haydos Posted 31 August 2014 Share Posted 31 August 2014 Schmeichel - 7 Konch - 8 Morgan - 9 Moore - 7 De Laet - 7 Schlupp - 8 King - 7 Hammond - 5 Mahrez - 8 Nugent - 8 Ulloa - 8 Subs: Albrighton - 6 Vardy - 8 Drinky - 8 Thought Vardy and Drinks were excellent when they game on, Vardy was dangerous up top and Drinky put a shift in and looked great on the ball. ADK Posted 31 August 2014 Share Posted 31 August 2014 Surprised Hammond is getting criticised, thought he worked tirelessly in a difficult role.
The Doctor Posted 31 August 2014 Share Posted 31 August 2014 Schmeichel - 7 - Strong, good when called upon De Laet - 7 - good going forward, but lost his man for the goal. Moore - 9 - Bossed it, easily better than Chambers. Morgan - 9 - Beast of a player. Konch - 7 - Solid & dependable Hammond & King - 6 - Struggled a bit with the Arsenal midfield, but another decent performance Mahrez - 8 - Silky skills, but a few poor decisions. Should have 3 assists from 3 games though with the one-on-ones he's created. Schlupp - 7 - Corking cross for the goal, but his decision making is a bit hit and miss. Nugent - 9 - Ran himself into the ground, terrorised them. Ulloa - 9 - only criticism is that miss - dominated in both boxes from set-pieces and bullied their defence all day long - some great touches too. Arsenal - either diving cheats or made of glass. Ref - Pretty poor, some of the decisions we got punished for, they got away with. Sczenzey should have walked for that kick out at moore.

cc_star Posted 31 August 2014 Share Posted 31 August 2014 Nugent immense, really took one for the team. Tireless. With Morgan just pipping him for MotM Some good individual heroics today, but felt it was our worst performance out of the three. Some woeful passing at times, but deserved at least the point out of it.
Haydos Posted 31 August 2014 Share Posted 31 August 2014 Surprised Hammond is getting criticised, thought he worked tirelessly in a difficult role. He worked hard but he looked behind the pace. Lots of fouls and he wasn't quick enough, looked a lot less sharp than he did against Chelsea. He wasn't awful but I felt he was very average. Leicesterpool Posted 31 August 2014 Share Posted 31 August 2014 Ulloa was the MOTM for me, but a good all round performance.
Wilson_6 Posted 31 August 2014 Share Posted 31 August 2014 Hammond a 4, showed why he's been playing second fiddle for us, one good performance doesn't make him a starter and today showed. Ay? i would class a 4 as poor shouldn't even be on the bench. Think he did alright he was average against a very good opposite midfield. 6 easy! bluesbrothers Posted 31 August 2014 Share Posted 31 August 2014 Went for:Kasper - 7 - Some solid saves, nothing particularly bad and not called into action much, suprisingly. RDL - 10 (MOTM) Absolutely flawless. The perfect response to his critics after his naff show against Everton. Can't pick a single fault, Man Of The Match by a mile. Morgan - 7 - Solid as ever, but it was him and Moore getting mixed up that led to their goal. Moore - 7 - As Morgan Konchesky - 8 - Like De Laet, excellent, but not quite as barnstorming on the break. Pleased as punch that he's made the step up - he's a Premier League player. Mahrez - 6 - Great start, then pushed back for the second half of the first 45. Came out and grew into the role until his substitution and tested Sczelny. Not the brilliant display others are claiming, but impressive enough. King - 7 - Kept things tidy in the centre, giving Hammond a freer role. Him and Deano, suprisingly, are looking as good as DD and James last season, and full credit for making the step-up. Hammond - 8 - Brilliant again, the lad's been a revelation. A true "forgotten man", but his hold-up play and passing are sharp. Made Arsenal's midfield look ordinary. Schlupp - 8 - Has merited his inclusion in a winger's role. Great assist, and another who has suprised a few with his PL step-up. Ulloa - 8 - Great header, and in hindsight incredibly close to the winner. Top signing from Nige - we finally have aerial presence again up top! Nugent - 8 - Tireless running, didn't really get into any shooting positions but does so much more. Involved in the build-up to Ulloa's goal. Subs:Albrighton - 6 - Fairly quiet, but a tidy shift when called into action. Vardy - 7 - PACE! Caused the Arsenal back-line trouble whenever he got a yard of space. Will be immense once he gets game time, just you watch!Drinkwater - 7 - Good returning cameo, pulled the strings as we know he can do so well. Still think King and Deano deserve their place for now. Opposition - 4 - The supposedly deadly attack didn't materialise, and their goal was courtesy of crap central defending as opposed to their brilliance. Not on form, we could have won it. Pearson - Stay. What a stupid question.

Bettsj2 Posted 31 August 2014 Share Posted 31 August 2014 Kasper 7 Good save from Sonogo but should have claimed the ball from the first. RDL 8 Defended well and supported the attack better than in the previous games. Moore 8.5 England beckons Wes 8.5 Pure class Konch 7.5. What was everyone worried about? Schlupp 7 Fifty shades of Jeff today. Great cross but some also truly dreadful decisions King 7.5 Another good performance despite being outnumbered Hammond 7.5 See King Mahrez 8 Great play today. Growing in confidence Nugent 8 Tireless and passionate. Exactly what we want Ulloa 9 Would have been a ten if he stuck the 2nd away. Beast in both boxes. Lookingvan absolutely superb signing
Dickov22 Posted 31 August 2014 Share Posted 31 August 2014 Kasper 7 Nothing to do. Why do Arsenal insist on scoring the perfect goal? Did they honestly think we'd let them walk it into the net De Laet 7 Much better than the previous 2. Sanchez gave up trying to take him on in the end. Couldn't get past him Moore 7 Very composed performance Morgan 9 MOTM. Immense again Konch 6 Did his job well (again) Mahrez 7.5 Hilarious that some muppets on here suggested he be dropped for today. Constant threat and ran himself into the ground. Lovely player King 7.5 Another very good game and worked really hard Hammond 6.5 A little slow in possession at times but did well. Did a lot of chasing, closing down. Worked very hard Schlupp 6.5 Tired towards the end. Great assist. Ulloa 8 Outstanding first touch. Well taken goal. Thought his chance was in! Nugent 8 Great performance from Nugent today. Aggressive, worked hard and good link up play Drinks and Vardy both looked very good. Great to have them back. Bamba's Babes Posted 31 August 2014 Share Posted 31 August 2014 I saw somebody said that Nugent 'terrorised' Arsenal. Excuse me? He worked hard but no harder than Ulloa or any other forward would have done today. His slow build-up play held us back and his curling shot was going wide before the block. kingfox Posted 31 August 2014 Share Posted 31 August 2014 Schmeichel 7 - Hardly anything to do De Laet 8 - Mahrez leaves him isolated, but when we changed, against Sanchez second half he was exceptional Morgan 8 - All three games so far he has been solid Moore 8 - Like Wes, another solid performance, slotting into Premier League life well Konchesky 8 - He also had a difficult task today, but yet again he put in a consistent performance Mahrez 6 - He can be dangerous, but he can do better, defensively he didn't work hard enough King 7 - Put in another good shift today, started the season well Hammond 7 - Got stuck in very well, few sloppy passes but stuck to his task well Schlupp 7 - Mixed bag from Jeff today, decision making poor at times but also good at times, good shift defensively Nugent 6 - Worked very hard, but I'd just like to see more pace in attacking roles, therefore Vardy with Ulloa would be a better option Ulloa 8 - Love the guy, very intelligent, puts his body about well, brilliant header

foxinsox Posted 31 August 2014 Share Posted 31 August 2014 Ulloa was MoTM, though all played well today. As well as his goal, he bossed their world cup winning defender, and defended against arsenal corners brilliantly. A great buy, great work rate and attitude. But that goes for all of them!
