ktfox59 Posted 1 September 2014 Share Posted 1 September 2014 It seems Dave Hockaday must have been on a very poor contract if its only worth £10000 to settle. Well at least offer. Surely if he had a contract and was sacked, must have better settlement. May have missed a nought off the info??

Footballwipe Posted 1 September 2014 Share Posted 1 September 2014 His annual salary was only £80k so it's no surprise the payoff is so little

I shouldn't imagine he was on much, that's why he got the job in the first place
Benji Posted 1 September 2014 Share Posted 1 September 2014 Was never going to be on much. Appointed as a puppet man and the opportunity of it paying off and make his managerial career would have been his "payment".

Adds insult to injury for him to have this plastered on SSN of how little he got. Almost unheard of these days.
Fox92 Posted 1 September 2014 Share Posted 1 September 2014 Was never going to be on much moving from non league. Who would want to manage Leeds? Glad Grayson has ruled himself out.

Leroy Rosenior talks alot of chuff but he nailed it when talking about the Leeds job the other week. You get it right and there's massive potential there, you get it wrong and your reputation isn't harmed all that much because you're working for an absolute nutter. If you're an out of work manager I could understand the appeal of the Leeds gig, like them or loathe them it's a pretty big job.

My reference to Simon Grayson is the fact he is a manager in a job and could well be managing in the same division as Leeds next season.
