Guest Posted 2 September 2014 Share Posted 2 September 2014 With the final squad (at least till 2015) in who do you think will be our Player of the season? Wes has already proven the doubters wrong. Ulloa has bagged 2 in 3. Mahrez has been dazzling. Cambiasso and Powell have arrived. But for me I think Drinky is going to prove to be World Class and even make Hodgson choose him as Gerrard/Lampard replacement in the England team. Danny Drinkwater - your time is now! Riyad_Suarez Posted 2 September 2014 Share Posted 2 September 2014 I'd have my money on Westley Morgan.
cc_star Posted 2 September 2014 Share Posted 2 September 2014 Usual suspects of Big Wes, Schmeichel, Drinkwater, Nugent, Vardy and now Ulloa. Moore a cert for yPotT

MC Prussian Posted 2 September 2014 Share Posted 2 September 2014 Can't tell. But if you asked me to make a very wild guess, I'd go for Ulloa.

Xen Posted 2 September 2014 Share Posted 2 September 2014 POTS Ulloa YPOTS Liam I'd agree with this, especially if Ulloa can remain consistent. But there are plenty of players in the squad still to play, who could yet prove invaluable to us. Wouldn't be surprised if Drinky comes back in and starts being our regular MotM. Kitchandro Posted 2 September 2014 Share Posted 2 September 2014 I've been really pleased with the defence so far on the whole. Moore or Morgan could be good shouts, both have been superb. I always said that Drinkwater and James would be the two who will really make the step up. I wouldn't be surprised if Drinkwater got it, he really is a class act. The Railway Man Posted 2 September 2014 Share Posted 2 September 2014 Honestly wouldn't surprise me if we ended with the same as last year, Drinks and James both have the potential to be on the verges of the England squad and Vardy won't be too far away. Ulloa and Moore have also started the season very well.

foxfan92 Posted 2 September 2014 Share Posted 2 September 2014 head says it could be any one of ulloa, drinkwater, mahrez, vardy, nugent, morgan or moore (who by the way I believe will be on Hodgson's radar by the end of the season) and not discounting the fact cambiasso and even the two young lads we just signed have potential to be greats this season watching the first 3 games if he continues to play it might even be king but I think schlupp will keep surprising and keep getting better and better and will worm his way into our hearts as knockaert did not so long ago its taken him a few attempts to find that special role to play and he needs a number of games to ensure he is at his best but every time he gets the ball going forward things seem to be happening for us this season and while mahrez has had moments of genius down the other flank - I think the way schlupp is able to cover konchesky when needed but also sprint past players with ease when on the attack and (if sunday is anything to go by) lay on a pin point accurate delivery into the box - he could be the surprise contender for our player of the season (I just hope I've not just cursed him now and after the international break he becomes awful)
