Several players linked to the club during pre season and comments follow on their suitability: Jon Sammels (Arsenal) Too slow, not good enough for Arsenal, not good enough for us. Alan Birchenall (Chelsea) Not good enough for Chelsea, not good enough for us. Another Landoner, a journeyman, he'll soon be off never to be seen again at the club. Keith Weller (Chelsea) ditto the above. Too slow, no skill. Frank Worthington (Huddersfield) Failed a medical at Liverpool. Clearly not fit, lazy arrogant.
