Would you be happy for us to be an established premier league club but no more than mid table mediocrity? A domestic cup win or 2? Do you think we could be competing for European football? I think we'll have survived comfortably in that time and maybe even won a cup and had a European trip somewhere. So in all reality probaby fighting for our lives in this division as so many clubs like ours have to do after losing a good manager who oversaw a small successful period in the top flight. Arsenal, Chelsea, Man Utd, Liverpool, Man City all with wealthy owners, stadiums bigger than ours and, with the possible exception of Man City, worldwide brands who sell merchandise in volume all over the world. Throw Spurs and Everton into the mix with there new stadium plans and it's a really tough ask. Yes we should aim for the stars but reality tells me we will just not have enough to get there.
