Toon soon... Newcastle (H) plans for fans

Recommended Posts

FA Cup Third Round day holds a special place in our hearts at Union FS - it gives us the opportunity to have a carefree day on the beer, watch winner-stays-on football and a gives us a break from the rigourous assault of modern football and the Premier LEague.

So, with the horse punchin', brown ale swillin', stripe wearin' Geordies being given over L, K and parts of P for our tie on January 3, we want to encourage everyone who usually stands in those blocks to move over to SK1 and get some real noise going to back the lads on the first step to Wembley.

While both L/K Blocks and the Kop have worked well to keep constant noise going at home games this year, we now have a chance to unify for this match and really go for it all game.

We've been in away pubs and concourses all season, and there's no reason why with all our combined vocal power (and a few pints down our necks by the time we get in the ground) we can't replicate the same energy and noise at home games.

After all, why should an away day mentality be confined to away days?

So bring yourself, your mates and your voices over to the back of SK1 to sing us assembly on our way to Wembley.

The details: The main group is located between rows JJ and PP seats 10-35 so the closer you can get to here the better. The club have given relocating fans a grace period before other season ticket holders to relocate so please do take that opportunity accordingly. Full ticket details here: http://www.lcfc.com/news/article/newcastle-fa-cup-clash-ticket-information-2151655.aspx

Pre-match: As always, we will be in the Swan and Rushes from midday before the game and it would be great to see some new faces. Please spread the word and get involved!

Really like this article and I agree with every word. I think this is a really good opportunity for anyone who's being relocated from L, K, N or P who's interested in creating an atmosphere throughout the game and getting behind the lads to come over and see what we're all about. It'd be good to meet more like minded fans.
