Leicester away fans 17th most vocal in the league

Crystal Palace away fans have been voted the fourth most vocal in the Premier League.

The only teams finishing above the Eagles' faithful were Manchester United, who topped the list, Newcastle United and Liverpool.

Palace are known for their passionate support, and some may even be disappointed with outcome of the survey, which sampled over 1,500 football and was carried out by Carlsberg, which has filmed an alternative Christmas speech for release at midday on Boxing Day.

  • England fans have voted traditional rivals Germany their 'second team'
  • Germany's 7-1 demolition of Brazil was the top football moment of 2014 
  • Luis Suarez was voted the fan’s player of 2014
  • Rooney’s half-way volley against West Ham named fan’s goal of 2014
  • Man City 6 Arsenal 3 voted Barclays Premier League fan’s game of 2014 
  • Carlsberg’s very own Jeff Stelling is the nation's favourite football pundit
  • Liverpool fans vote Gary Neville ahead of Jamie Carragher as top pundit
  • 82 per cent of fans tip Crystal Palace to stay up this season

Speaking on behalf of myself, Netherlands are my second team not Germany. Wouldn't have expected that vote!

 

Can't really comment on away teams yet, only seen a handful obviously. Expect decent noise from Villa and Spurs though, surprised to see them near the rear end.

My main gripe isn't with the writing of the article though; it's that we can objectively measure sound in decibels so we don't need to ask people who the loudest are, we can just measure it and find out. So in summary it's total bollocks.

Germany our second team lol **** off.

 

The bit about our fans... I can believe that if I'm being brutally honest. I don't think we're a noisy set of away fans at all. We have some who properly go for it but the vast majority don't.
