Leicester City for life! Not just for Christmas.

Recommended Posts

This season is starting to resemble 1980/81, came up as champions, Jock Wallace had total faith in his kids, so much so he thought we'd challenge for the title! We beat champions Liverpool early on then it all went wrong, however we did do the double over Liverpool which then started a mini revival which sadly petered out. And of course in Jan / Feb 1981 Johan Cryuff was joining us! Perhaps he will reconsider!

Final point, Wallace wasn't sacked, took us down, nearly came back up, made cup semi-final, then buggered off to Motherwell, Motherwell?!

Been relegated enough times now, it's embedded in LCFCs DNA!

One day it may change!

I will support LCFC not matter what division we are in, but I'd really like it to be the Premiership....we've been away too long.

As for Christmas, it's better to give than receive and my family are not happy with my on-going complaints about our results, so I'm buying Mrs Crinkly some industrial strength ear defenders - hope they last until May.

Mike McCarthy's show before the West Ham game was talking about us in 75/76, going on a run of 14 games without a win stretching to February and being 21st in the First Division, and still staying up. Miracles can happen I suppose.

Fans old enough to actually witness that season might also remember it as being the season in which we played Arsenal seven times.

Did anyone say he had no passion and was an utter twat?
