Sir Shep Posted 24 January 2015 Share Posted 24 January 2015 Cup, and then a team that survives on the last day fields a dodgy player and we get to stay up instead of them!

Bilo Posted 24 January 2015 Share Posted 24 January 2015 The cup. A 16th place finish will be forgotten by summer, an FA Cup win will be with us forever. As would the memories of the European tour the following season.

simoncccccc Posted 24 January 2015 Share Posted 24 January 2015 Clearly I'm in the minority here, but for me Premier League survival is the easy winner. If we are relegated, there is no guarantee of promotion the following season. I want to watch my team competing at the highest level week after week. The FA Cup is a mere distraction. Danizen Posted 24 January 2015 Share Posted 24 January 2015 I've always said survival and a few years in the Premier League would put us in a position where we could challenge for the cup every year and win it multiple times instead of just a one off... ...but **** it, the magic's got me! Cup!
MHC Posted 24 January 2015 Share Posted 24 January 2015 I'd rather stay up. If we went down and won the cup we would be playing about 60+ matches next season which would probably result in us not getting promoted. Staying up has to be priority for me. As would the memories of the European tour the following season. Oh Bilo - don't make me pull out some of your earlier matchday posts from the first half of the season. From doom-mongering and agony to overwhelming positivity and far-fetched dreams. Life as a Leicester City supporter - there's only two ways to approach a game.
