suffolk fox Posted 4 March 2015 Share Posted 4 March 2015 Cardiff finished bottom of the premier league last season with 30 points. Will we even emulate that? I don't think we will.
Steve_Walsh5 Posted 4 March 2015 Share Posted 4 March 2015 I'll probably get shot down for this and get told to keep the faith. But I can't see us getting over 25 points.
kingcarr21 Posted 4 March 2015 Share Posted 4 March 2015 If im being honest no i dont think we will make 30 points. How i would love to be proved wrong but i fear that 13 game winless run has crippled our chances of survival. We are 7 points adrift now. I think the bottom 3 now will be the 3 that go down. LCCFox96 Posted 4 March 2015 Share Posted 4 March 2015 If we don't believe getting 12 points between now and the end of the season is possible then we might as well give up. I know its hard to see where the win is coming from and that we've only won one game all season but I am confident we can go on a little run of results between now and the season's end which, whilst it may not be enough to see us to safety, should clear 30 points and the bottom of the table. So much is confidence based. If for arguments sake we won our next two games that halves the total for 30 points and people would say it is much more doable. A good run of form and we may yet pull through.
ScouseFox Posted 4 March 2015 Share Posted 4 March 2015 probably not, no, based on the rest of the season. but what's your point? will you be pleased when we get 26 points and post in this (or make a new thread) immediately after full time on the last day so you can say told you so? or will you be supporting the team and club in the hope that we do in fact get 30+ and maybe even stay up? bet it's the first isn't it. NotTheMarketLeader Posted 4 March 2015 Share Posted 4 March 2015 It's not looking likely when a couple of defeats in a row now, would make getting out of it look impossible with another win by Villa. In that case will the players be able to motivate themselves just to get more points on the board?
lgfualol Posted 4 March 2015 Share Posted 4 March 2015 Probably not. Unless Pearson pulls off a miracle.
walkerleeds Posted 4 March 2015 Share Posted 4 March 2015 When we draw tonight the gap is only 6 points with a game in hand. Beat Hull and we are right back in the hunt. To clarify, yes with ease.
Steve_Walsh5 Posted 4 March 2015 Share Posted 4 March 2015 Out of the 12 remaining teams we've got left we only got 5 points off them in the reverse fixtures.

I hope that the mistakes made in them games will be avoided with Huth and Kramaric in now. Defensively we look much better and now we have another goalscorer. Lets hope they prove the difference. Fine margins has been spouted alot this season. Lets hope it is just fine margins and the likes of Huth and Kramaric will swing them margins in our favour. Bang on. Some doom-mongers seriously need to look at what they get out of following Leicester. If I was that pessimistic all the time I'd not bother. Steve_Walsh5 Posted 4 March 2015 Share Posted 4 March 2015 but we got kramma and huuuuuth now so we're gonna get like 20 points imo And Upson & Schwarzer. Fvck it how many points do we need to get a Europa league place. I'm not giving up on that until it's mathematically possible.

If I was that pessimistic all the time I'd not bother. yeah that and it's boring. you don't think we'll stay up? really? haven't seen that mentioned before. i'm heading towards don't think we'll do it, but i'm still hopeful. not gonna make a new thread every half an hour saying "we're doomed forget it". still gonna enjoy the rest of the season as much as i can. we were down according to many before the turn of the year and i've had bloody great days at anfield and goodison since then, bet some on here were either there or watching struggling to even celebrate our goals in case their predictions became wrong. some people on here, not arsed what they say, would genuinely prefer us to go down so they can quote themselves from july saying "this will be a tough season we might go down". cc_star Posted 4 March 2015 Share Posted 4 March 2015 Not bothered how many points we get, it's the position we finish in that matters (to most) And although I have a preference to finishing 17th or 20th...
