Enough is enough

Recommended Posts

Ok I'm fully expecting to get slated for this and I know it's going to end up in another Pearson in/out debate but oh well....

We have 11 games to go, 33 vital points to fight for. Can we nit just all get behind the team and even the manager for the remainder of these games?

Yes it's been a major disappointment this season and its going to take an unbelievable turn in form and fortunes to drag ourselves out of it but what's the point in adding to the negativity? For the people wanting NP sacked, it's not going to happen from now until the end of the season so the constant moaning isn't going to change that or achieve anything positive. If we go down you will more than likely get your wish and you can give it all your "I told you so". For now how about supporting your team and hopefully lift them to do better.

To balance it, the 'Pearsonites', you can't deny that NP has found the step up to the prem very difficult and at times it has overwhelmed him. He has made mistakes tactically, in personnel and has had a few sketchy moments in the media spotlight. We still have a chance of staying up and at times we've looked a good side that have won many plaudits from pundits. Unfortunately kind words aren't points on the board and the majority of our good performances have been against the wrong clubs.

My point is can we just put the bickering to one side for the next couple of months and go into this with some fight and enthusiasm? We might continue to be frustrated and our support might be in vain but surely it's worth a try. I know some of you will say that what we write on here has no effect on performances but I do feel it creates a negative and almost poisonous atmosphere on our club

like i said in a different thread yesterday i'm 100% sure some people dont want us to stay up because if we go down they can say "told you so".

they also don't want to enjoy themselves. they hate life, they hate football and they hate leicester city. why they are here i have no idea. get a new hobby imo.

i don't think we'll stay up anymore but i'm open to a surprise and i'm open to the idea of staying up. so let's go.

Enough is enough can Pearson just go now and let Cambiasso run it until the end of the season that's our only hope.

Just a random question from me and not an NP comment but do you require a coaching qualification? Has Cambiasso got any?

Well sorry you see my balanced post that way. Thought I pointed out our failings quite clearly.

To suggest we are worse now than any point over the last 10 years is absurd imo.

This, for some people to say we are worse of now that at any point over the last 10 years is absurd, we have 32k stadium, a great fanbase, a lot of very good players, a chairman who knows how to run a business( and yes the club is a business whether we like it or not).  So for those comments are quite clearly untrue

Why has Pearson got some because you wouldn't know would you!

I'm not commenting on your post. Just a straight question as to whether someone with no official coaching qualifactions can be a manager. I've had this conversation with mates before and no-one seems to know the answer. No hidden agenda here.

I hope the support from the fans at the ground continues to be defiant, because that might have a small positive impact on the players, but I don't see why people shouldn't discuss the many negatives of the season so far on here where it makes no difference at all. You might as well close the forum if we're not allowed to express opinions.

Ok discuss yeah, but it's the petty little jibes that are annoying and frankly just make the poster lose credibility

I don't think he'll be sacked if he takes us down either. Why would they? He has proved he's capable of success at that level. The opportunity to sack him this season has gone as has been said, but i think he will start with us next season regardless of league.

I'm not so sure. Contract issues and players wanting out will, in my view, mean that there's going to be considerable changes to the Championship winning squad and here's where the decision of the owners gets tricky....Can NP rebuild a squad that has personnel changes and has had it's confidence badly shaken or.....Get someone else in to establish a squad that can win the Championship AND survive in the Premier league if we make it back before the parachute payments run out.....Tricky one that for Vichai & Top.

Very good point. I think the thing that could work in his favour is the way the players came back the season after the Watford playoff debacle. They were so fired up that summer

That comes from both sides, to be fair. Eh Schwarzer makes an average save and up pops half a dozen posts saying "where are the schwarzer haters now, gon back under there rock wheir I hope they die"

This is the thing, the fans are behind the team and for the majority of the time Pearson. Every game sells out, our away support is some of the best in the country. However if the management team continue with putting shit in (Morgan et al) they will get shit out.....pretty simple really. Every time the team starts in the 5 at the back with Morgan at the heart and poor old Kram up front on his jack jones we are at an instant disadvantage no matter how much we cheer and support.
