Just got a text from my mate, who is in the Swan in the Rushes for the big-match build-up, and he says today is the last day because their lease finishes.

This has happened there before and I think it was open again after a couple of weeks. They even said on their facebook page that there are plenty of interested parties, so I doubt it'll be closed for too long and wouldn't imagine it's shut for good.

Gutted...  my pre match ritual for longer than I care to remember... proper boozer, with proper beers and a decent mix of fans

 

Was pretty dead on no match days I understand... shame
