Oh, of course of predicament is laughable, but let's not for one minute fool ourselves that Scotland result was anything other than laughable too.

Not arguing that performance was pathetic - and Strachan coming out and saying it was unlucky is laughable (he can focus on 62% possession and 19 attempts, but only 3 shots on target at home to Lithuania, and taking 85 minutes to get going is embarrassing); but England fans calling anyone laughable after the last few months is essentially the definition of pot. kettle.

Azerbaijan beating Norway was good for Northern Ireland but honesty think our group will have the 2nd place team that misses out on the play off places sadly. Can see us, Norway, Czech Rep and Azerbaijan (in their home matches) just taking points off each other whilst Germany hammer everyone.

seriously in the 70's and 80's Scotland arguably produced more European/world class players per head of population than any other country on earth ! The destruction of Scottish football can be traced to the rise of battered mars bars and the birth and growth of the premier league.

Can an see us all just dropping so many points the 2nd place team will miss out 

 

I can't even see us being 2nd and goal difference will come into it

True, I'm dreading the Scotland match TBH, you know the scots will give everything they have to beat us, add to that our endless lackluster performances mean I have zero confidence in our team.  Be interesting to see the Scottish fans take over Wembley, not sure the stewards will know what's hit them (figuratively speaking).   Friday night too.  Good luck with that.

There's no reason why you guys can't do the double over Norway & Azerbaijan if you're as solid as over the past 3/4 years. On your day, NI would probably be too good for the Czech's too.
