MrSpaM Posted 17 October 2016 Share Posted 17 October 2016 I'd give some impressions but somebody gave me a beta code and I'm still waiting for the download to finish 3 days later
deejdeej Posted 17 October 2016 Share Posted 17 October 2016 I saw a video posted where you can turn into a robot and just run through people to kill them online, staying well clear of it.
dbtcity Posted 17 October 2016 Author Share Posted 17 October 2016 I've played it a few times now and I'm enjoying it to be fair.... that being said I liked advanced warfare, seems just as fast paced as aw, the only downside is the amount of pro quick scopers every time you walk around the corner/bump into them they drop you
DB11 Posted 17 October 2016 Share Posted 17 October 2016 http://www.evilcontrollers.com/ I knew that some people were just too good to always beat me in a 1v1 when you turn the corner. They must have this rapid fire modded controller!!!
dbtcity Posted 17 October 2016 Author Share Posted 17 October 2016 I'd imagine a lot of them have scuf controllers as that's what all the pros use and the YouTubers get paid to push, I won one on a Twitter competition and they do make a difference especially with jump shots and mele, they just sent me the new basic one and not the 1 with trigger stops which basically means you don't have to press the trigger as far down to shoot https://scufgaming.com/uk/

And if that somehow gets stagnant, there's Titanfall 2. By which time Activision will have caved and released MW as a standalone. There'll be absolutely no reason for Infinite Warfare
Ashley Posted 3 November 2016 Share Posted 3 November 2016 Anyone getting this tomorrow? I only want it for COD4. One of the best games ever made.

I'm literally in the same boat. I know when I buy the edition with COD4 in, I won't touch Infinite Warfare for ages. So in theory I'm paying 65 quid for cod4. dbtcity Posted 5 November 2016 Author Share Posted 5 November 2016 Spat my dummy whilst playing infinite warfare waiting for mw to download and turned it off, I enjoyed advanced warfare as it was a bit different but another 2 bs versions later and I'm done with boost jumping etc... can't wait to get stuck into mw remastered today
dbtcity Posted 5 November 2016 Author Share Posted 5 November 2016 I've heard quite a few people have bought the double edition planning to sell infinite warfare without even putting it in the console, I don't imagine you'd need the pair of them for mw to work

Not stopped playing MWR since its come out!
Legend_in_blue Posted 5 November 2016 Share Posted 5 November 2016 Bring out COD:MW as a standalone and I'm interested. People should refuse to buy the whole package until this is so. To those who already have - mugs the lot of you!
Larry_LCFC Posted 5 November 2016 Share Posted 5 November 2016 Have to say I am really underwhelmed by the Cod 4 remake. Seems a very slow clunky game. I loved it back in the day. Cant stand infinite warfare either. Laser guns, robots and jetpacks. No thanks. Maybe its time for me to hang up my Cod shoes. Just doesn't do it for me anymore. I think it's most likely your opinion has changed since you played CoD4 when you were younger. I've played a bit of MWR round a mates house and there is literally no difference in the mechanics in MWR than the original. I refuse to buy IW Legacy edition just for MWR myself. If they sold as a standalone I'd be first in line, but they're being money grabbing ***** because they know no one really wants to play IW. Svetkin357 Posted 8 November 2016 Share Posted 8 November 2016 On the eve of the premiere of the developers shooter Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare Activision told the blog of two unusual difficulty modes in the game, which will interest everyone who believes "veteran" is not enough for hardcore. In one of them, called YOLO (You Only Live Once), after the death will have to start the game at beginning. First of special modes open after beating the game on any difficulty. There is no automatic health regeneration (treatment is possible only with the help of Nano Shots) by headshots only protection helmets , and in the inventory will be less space, because Nano Shots and helmets occupy in it slots. Hero will move slower if his feet get injured and not be able to shoot accurately and skillfully use the equipment after being hit in the arm. Also, enemies can knock the weapon out of the player hands. Mode YOLO unlocked only after beating the game on the Specialist. In addition, the developers have talked about minor missions in the story campaign. During their performance, gamers will be able to improve for the costume fighter and Jackal. Most of the story missions and tasks Ship Assault Missions players will be able to find arms factories, which stores various kinds of weapons, including unique. Also at each plant can be improved by one gear element by means of a special console (Equipment Upgrade Console). In Zombies in Spaceland, players will destroy zombies, crazy clowns, and other inhabitants of the creepy amusement park. The developers have prepared a lot of thematic tests, which are provided for the implementation of rewards in the form of weapons and items of equipment, and also made it possible to combine skills with the help of machines arranged in the park Candy Machines. Besides this, the creators have announced Jackal Assault VR Experience - an exclusive mission to PlayStation VR, in where players will control the aircraft. This job will be available for free to all owners of PlayStation 4, not only buyers of the game. Basingstoke Fox Posted 14 November 2016 Share Posted 14 November 2016 Got this with CoD 4 remastered for £46 from Zavvi.com (who knew they were still around? lol). Still too much really and I know the price will come down further but I was a big fan of MW. Not hugely interested in IW but it may be alright. Actually they didn't have the required level of stock to provide my order so it got cancelled. When following it up (having not heard for a week) I got a generic customer service reply about why it wasn't sent. Needless to say I won't use them again any time soon! Parafox Posted 25 November 2016 Share Posted 25 November 2016 The multiplayer on IW is a joke and virtually unplayable. Unless you're a pro gamer with the advanced controllers you may as well just stand around and get zero kills and 30 deaths 'cos that's about all I can manage. The campaign is much better than BO3 and is lighter on the boost jumping and wall running aspect. The story is pretty absorbing, the gameplay is good and the graphics are stunning. Lewis Hamilton has a cameo role in it.
